I will admit to requiring the hint. As I said, I haven't read the books in nearly 2 years. I knew it was connected to 42 somehow, but I didn't make the connection to binary until I read the hint and numerized the date. My backup idea was that October 10, 2010 was the date the dolphins left.
On an interesting side note, 101010 is ASCII code for asterisk, which is a search wildcard. Hence, if you are searching for *, you are searching for everything. Perhaps the world will not end, just some monumental discovery will be made.

If I remember correctly, Adam Archuleta's talent with the Rams was as a safety who hit. His strength was never in coverage, a fact which Daniel Snyder should have realized before signing him. The Redskins needed a safety to play straight coverage, particularly given Joe Gibbs' system. NO! Is the lack of diversity at the higher levels of education a problem? Definitely. But it is not a problem that can be fixed from the top down. There is no benefit to be had from pushing minority students into programs they are not ready for, purely for the sake of diversity. Similarly, it is illogical, not to mention insulting, to suggest that standards be lowered so that more minorities qualify for certain programs of study.
