Just installed the latest version and now my desktops won't load. All I ever get is this error: The procedure entry point ?OnStateChanged@DGObj@@UAEHPAGK@Zcould not be located in the dynamic link libraryDirectGui.dll Thanks for any help!

If you look at the image below, you can see my username is a little off-center (vertically). I went into Skin Studio and saw that User Pane->Vertical Text Alignment was set to OS Default. So, I set it to Center, and it just pushed it down even lower. Any ideas? Thanks. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v255/tealfan/Misc/username.jpg

I learned how to recolor skins successfully (whew), but for my next desktop I want to go the other way and recolor my wall instead. Specifically, I need to recolor a piece of clothing that has polka dots on a white background. I tried my previous technique, but it didn't turn out the way I expected...lol. I'm using Photoshop 6. Thanks in advance.

Hmmm I hadn't thought of that (the copyright issues). Well, I'm new to this. Im not artistically-inclined. I can't even draw a straight line.

Oh. As far as separating out the icon size I wanted from the Fred Icon.psd file... I created a new canvas of size 48x48, then ed the 48 folder in Fred Icon.psd, then dragged the icon onto my new canvas and centered it. I deleted the text layer and set the backgrounds opacity to 0. Then I saved this canvas for future use. Then I did my work on this canvas. Whew! I'm off to bed!

Here's the finished product: http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/v255/tealfan/Temp/Screenshot_-_Fredification.jpg They're IconX...uhh...icons, so I changed my settings so that they light up like the Start button does. I also have single-click turned on in my Folder Options, so these button-like things actually work like buttons. The icon labels only turn on on mouse over. If these icons are decent enough, I'd be happy to help with an icon package. Never uploaded anything before, so
