In order to get the explorer dark theme to work (background window colour) I have to use windows default theme.
Please add an option to override Explorers background window colour in the skin or advanced settings.

You should be able to change this color using skinstudio (sks) If you want to try.
open sks. click on change skin colors and open window. At the top you will see "show me the skin colour presets. To the right click on the arrow and change it to "show me the skin defined system colours" Scroll to the right and you will see Explorer background (win10) and Explorer folder bar background (win10) Change color to what you want. Make sure Explorer is closed and click "apply" open Explorer to see change.
