Release pushed back to October 2nd?

I read that somewhere, is it true?  

Would this be for marketing reasons or 'we want to make it better' reasons?

Last I heard it was pushed out to July, haven't heard anything about October.

No, it had an October 2014 EA release and some people read that as 2015 instead.

 

July is the last official date.
