Star Systems

One thing that I would like to see changed from GC2 to GC3 is the star systems. Systems in 2 were fairly boring- the majority of stars were yellow with 4 planets. GC3 has changed this a little, but I think it should go even further. Please make planet generation more random so that some syatems may only have 1 planet while some have 8. Also, please add Binary Stars and more types like that (though I know binaries are already planned).

I recall hearing that binary systems was something they were toying with, but isn't in at the moment.  I suspect that's something that will see the light of day eventually. Patch or expansion/DLC is my guess.  But guess is all it is. :)

Nice to hear that there ate 8 planet solar systems. Besides binary there 3 and 4 star systems. One thing to remember is that these usually have a neutron star,  or black hole at the center. It is also possible to have a white dwarf star in a solar system this is a good place for iron for alloys. There are both jovian and terran rogue planets,  and a lot if them. The most comnon star is either a red dwarf,  or binary information on the internet says both ways.

You have failed stars. Solar systems can capture planets. Planets can revolve around star,  super novas, and black holes. Planets can have more than one moon. Besides terran proto planets,  expelled jovian planets,  failed stars (sub brown dwarfs) jovian moons big balls of ice with a rocky core can be a rogue planet. Some rogue plsnets can sustain life. Some planets revolve in the star.

Just looked it up over half the stars are multiple. The most common is a trinary which orbit around a center which can be a black hole,  a neutron star,  or nonething. There are up to four star multiple star systems. I think outside this the most common star is a red dwarf. Toying around i heard theories of dense neutron stars called quarks. Some binaries have black holes.
