For some reason I can't attack the Drengin, although I can attack any other race. I've waited over 100 turns in case they had unlocked the trait that prevented them from being attacked for that long, but no go. I can't think of any other reason I can't attack them. No treaties or anything like that. Is this a bug or am I missing something?
I would say to follow the support ticket guidelines, include a copy of the game and version number in the ticket.
For support where examining saves is required, names of ships, planets and starbases, etc, are extremely helpful in their attempts to reproduce the issue.

Yeah, I tried, and kept getting an error when submitting the ticket. Something about a cross-site forgery?
yea, you need to allow the stardock.com and stardock.net scripts/cookies, they intermingle both since all of the forums for all of their games are all on the same server and use the same back-end resources, as near as I can tell anyway....

What I did was establish a ticket describing my problem without uploading any files and when Stardock got back in touch with me, I sent all my files they needed/wanted via email attachment in my response emails. Seems to have worked out so far.
I'm pretty sure this is a bug.
This has happened to me twice now and the only common denominator I can think of at the moment is that a CPU controlled race completely wiped out another race, screwing up the game.
For example, I created a map with two other computer races. I was able to declare war on both of them when they both owned territory and were still alive. Fast forward many turns later after one computer has conquered another computer and I mysteriously find the declare war option grayed out.
Sometimes I would reload the save and find I could still talk to the "dead" race that didn't own anything. They didn't have any ships or planets for trade but could still trade techs. After I exited that screen and ended a turn, the diplomacy screen would finally get rid of the defeated computer. I still couldn't declare war though.
Edit: Nevermind. Just did a 1v1 against Terran Alliance and it happened around turn 401. Fast forward to turn 520 and it's still grayed out. Also had a 4 player game where Iridium Corp. and Drengin Empire also had the grayed out option. It doesn't seem restricted to Drengin.

I have a game where this happened. It was submitted under ticket GCM-683-94886 for a different reason. In this I was never able to go to war with the Humans. Not sure of the 100 turn counter.
