I tried to get a refund for a pre-order of the game I made over a year ago but I was denied with:

"Refund requests on all credit/debit card orders must be received within 90 days of the transaction. No partial or full refunds will be granted after this time."

If anyone was in this similar situation and able to get a refund, what did you have to do to get it or am I simply out of luck?

For context, this request for refund was made as a result of this thread I created that is now locked (sorry I would have attached this to that thread but for some reason it was locked.)
