An interesting question.

As I understood pre-orders can download and play the gold version of the game on the 23rd and have to wait till the 24th like everyone else to update to the day-0 game.

I also did not receive that email.

I got it today, was announcing the launch and linked to the game play stories Brad has been posting. Here's a screen shot of it:



Tomorrow.

Beta testers get it early tomorrow, Pre-orders get it midday tomorrow. Everyone else Tuesday.

Will Pre-order's get an email saying tomorrow you can download the game early or will it just apper on impulse?

By mid-day do you mean noon or 5ish, like when?

So if I preorderd the game (which I did) I can download and play midday on the 22nd rather than waitng for the 24th? That would be sweet

a. If I pre-ordered and beta tested, am I beta tester or pre-order?

b. How much changed/improved since last phase of Beta to live?

Not true. There were some invite-only beta testers.

I preordered in February and played every beta that preordering gave me access to. Yet, I doubt I'll get to play tomorrow.

Weeeell, basically, you are at least a preorderer, which means that you will play it midday tomorrow. I do think you count as a beta tester though, as this is an open beta forum, and thus it would be misleading to announce that the other betatesters would get it early... And basically, these people have already betatested the version coming out, so no reason really to announce it.

You beta-tested: you're a beta tester. This isn't complicated.

Pre-orders would be the people who pre-ordered too late to beta test, but who have still purchased the game ahead of time.

I think I just fated at the thought of having it tomorrow instead of monday!!!!

I hate to ask this (because I can already guess the response) but for those of us living/working in Asia where it is already the 22nd. We're going to be waiting until the 23rd right?

well, yeah. 

Sweet I still haven't gotten an email though (saying we'll get access) I did get the ones from sales though telling me beta has ended which was why I didn't see my purchase in Impulse. So us beta testers will get it tomorrow, being Sunday, night? (just to make sure I got this right)

hmm, i pre-ordered like when they first anounced it - and beta tested the game - after buying a 2nd copy + upgrade to limited a while ago it stopped showing up in impulse though... hmm - any thoughts on if it will show up again in time for the early download?

btw is it correct that i only see 1 elemental serial registered to my acc allthough i bought 2?
