Anyone else getting excited about Elemental's release date creeping up?

Anyone else getting excited about Elemental's release date creeping up?

I've been in the beta since the launch, but have been a complete bum in submitting feedback, etc.  Thanks to all of you that are taking the time to provide feedback to the devs!  Anyway, I make a habit of at least playing through each release and I've got to tell you, I am getting pretty excited as I see the game shape up.  Granted, this last version seems pretty unstable on my setup, but its really starting to feel like what will be an excellent game.  And its great to be able to see where they were and where they are at now.  I know they are busting their butts to stay on schedule and make this the best possible game (note the 2AM + release of beta 3b on Sat morning, for instance).

Anyway, dev's - thanks for all your hard work and the possible long hours ahead before going gold.

Thanks to the beta community as well for all the feedback you've been cranking out to give the devs new or better ideas to make this game great!

Really looking forward to the next beta release and seeing how much further you've come in like a week or less.  Great job!

Brad - I hope nothing but commercial success for Elemental and whatever great game you guys come up with next!

I'm not sure there is anything to be worried about, stardock does not live or die on its games so they can improve them and do whatever they want basically...plus, the game is in no ways that bad a shape so far...

I'm extremely excited to see it come out.  First off, it's been killing me reading forum posts about people talking about this or that that aren't applicable to the final game (examples: boring terrain, bad UI, repetitive goodie huts and quests).

I haven't played Beta 4 in awhile but I don't think Beta 4 even had special abilities for monsters and NPCs did it?

I'm also looking forward to being able to read the forums and read people's strategies so I can do AI stuff and start porting the APIs to Python so others can try their hand at it.

Excellent news!  Make sure modders and map makers are able to include a random variable for creation designs.   This will help keep the AI opponents as more unpredictable and could allow a single quest to provide multiple outcomes.

It's 9AM...do you know where your sanity is?

...I'm pretty sure mine is 30 miles away.  Hmm.  I'd go get it but I'm pretty sure it won't come back with me.
