Trying to make sure of this, I believe I did, I just can't find the email, and checking my registrationns didn't give me the info either, which I expected. Is there a way to check for sure, outside of going through old bank statements?
You could try emailing [email protected], they should be able to tell you
I don't think the old bankstatements will confirm it, because i got a notification while ordering that i wouldn't be charged any money until release.
The only way to be sure is either finding the confirmation e-mail, or e-mailing the fellas at [email protected](iirc).
If you did get it, then the beta will be available for download when it's released. So, you have a 50% chance of getting it or not getting it. Want to make a wager?
Email [email protected] as astrath noted. Unless your bank kept the funds-check hold on record, there won't be anything there since it won't actually be charged until the beta is released.
Somewhat OT, the wording is you wouldn't be charged until the final game is released; not just the beta. Not sure I'd complain either way but paying for a beta seems to be a win-win proposition without need money to be exchanged.
Back on-topic; confirmation e-mail of the pre-order should have been sent and you should be able to get it resent if you e-mail stardock. I have not noticed anything on the online account status showing pre-orders (which you think it would but anyway...)

Since I remember hoping to get into the Alpha, I'm pretty sure I did, just not 100% sure now.
Please get your facts right. It has been confirmed by Stardock that you will be charged when beta starts. When the payment goes through with your bank, you'll get a serial key by email and can download the beta with Impulse.
