For me, it's the monster from Colverfield.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloverfield_%28creature%29 I love the conept of a monster on a rapage not because it's evil, but because it's scared, and seeing it from a regular Joe's point of view make it all themore terrifying.

Gojira as has been presented to us for all of these years, sort of grew on all of us fans. American name is Godzilla. The guy in the rubber suit has become a tradition.

Personally, the hollywood CGI version was very well done.

I do remember 5 Million Years to Earth. Very well done F/X for the time.

I would think student loan collection agencies would be the most terrifying monster, EVER. But I guess they need to make a movie first for it to qualify.
