Stargate Invasion is a total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment and Diplomacy . As of this time, there is no FINAL release date yet for this mod.

  

 

The mod will be built in 2 halves.  The first is the Pegasus side, I.E. Humans, Wraith and Asurans, with the Pirates being a classified race at the moment.  The second part of the mod, will add in the Asgard and Goa'uld races to the mix, we will even be creating a separate version of the mod as well, which will just be Humans, Asgard and Goa'uld, with the Lucien Alliance as the Pirates for that half.

Will the bc304 be able to attack planets?
I only asking because the Prometheus and Daedalus class ships have both attacked planets using rail guns, then of course theres the horizon (With 14 nukes).

It just seems like more then just one type of fright should be able to attack a planet.

Horizon was actually only 8 nukes. The other 6 projectiles were decoys so the Asurans would have a smaller chance of stopping the nukes headed for their ships.

Ok I thought I got it wrong so I looked it up and it turns out that its six Mark IX "Gatebuster" Naquahdriah-enhanced nuclear weapons and four decoys.

A few suggestions,
- The Asgard have Explosive Suppression Systems that neutralize explosives inside the ship (mentioned in Nemesis) and seeing how the tau'ri have a database for all asgard stuff... anyway what I'm saying is that it could be a research that makes human ship immune to nuke beaming.
- The time dilation technology could be made a research to increase hull and antimatter repair rates.
- Cloning could increase population.
- Mind-Transferal could decrease research time.
Also ZPMs give 5.25 times the speed, shields and antimatter to a BC-304 if you want an exact number for how powerful ZPMs are.

I also wanted to add that the BC-303 Prometheus has 4 railguns, 16 missile batteries, and can hold 8 F-302s..... I don't know if that helps.

these are good ideas, we will keep them in mind, although I believe the tau'ri's research tree is complete, dont quote me on that though. The 303's weapons havent been sorted out yet, none of the ships final weapons layouts have, minus the 304 which has had the most details worked out, which include two different types of railguns.

right now progress is slow. Loki is working on the new Aurora Class cruiser, myself am working on a few projects here and there, right now Im waiting to get back in contact with Derbal so that I can see his progress, and hopefully its something good so I can keep you all updated.

Hi I'm new here :) . I have been playing sins since its release and love it to bits, and have also been an avid stargate fan since the first film. I am loving all the work everyone has put in so far.. so keep it up :D .

Just 2 points i thought that could be helpful :

In SGA Season 2 Episode 20, when michael and the queen and a scientist are coming down to land on atlantis they are in a wraith vessel that looks about 3 times the size of a dart and could be very useful if you are interested in making a wraith bomber. Also

In SGA Seaon 5 Episode 4, just saw it yesterday. Theres that really awesome looking race that look brutal as hell and their ship and fighters look very nice and sleek. Tis a very good episode imo. Anyway what do you think?

that ship is going to be our Wraith Scout Ship, not a bomber.

That ship is pretty awesome, Im going to have to get some screens of that ship if we are to use it, but until then, we are going to do without it

Shouldn't the Human ships because of the asguard shields have very strong shields and weak hulls. In the show 3 or so hits from a wraith hive on the unshielded ship disabled it. And what about the missiles they can just about destroy a hive in 1 but get shot down alot. And maybe the new beam weapon versions of human ships should be reaserchable sen as they start off just auto cannons then become beams later on. This mod would be cool if it was accurate but it would still be fab if it wasn't. There was a quote i red somewhere that said a wraith fleet managed to take down the humans sields in an hour. Which indicates the shield are very strong. I propose weak hulls strong shield and weak wepons. Hive has very fast regeneration because of the biological nature of thier ships and they should also have slow hyperdrive and humans fast because thats also asguard. A spacial ability for human ships could be beam nuke. And hive could have cull which kills 90% of the planets population and regenerates the hives hull. For this you just see the darts going to serface if possible. Also hive ships have thousands of darts but they are easily killed. Humans have like 3 to 6 fighters which are equipped with missiles so can kill a good ammount of darts before death. An easy way because i don't think the wraith have a construction facility for their ships it could be built on the surface and either fly up of the planet or just appear. And human ships use nukes to bomb a planet and wraith use massive volleys of their blue plasma stuff. Hope this helps.

Well several of these ideas have already been incorporated into the mod, if you wouldnt mind looking at the rest of the thread, some of these have gone into further detail. Thanks for the support.
