You have dared to enter the lair of the most ferocious predators in the galaxy!

It is the ulitmate destiny of the Kzinti to conquer the other civilizations of the galaxy, subjugate and enslave any who may prove useful to us, and devour the rest. The Fanged God has ordained that this is how it will be.

In just 26 octals of days (7 months or so...Kzinti count in base 8), the Kzinti Empire rose from obscurity, to #1 on the Metaverse. With the blessings of the Fanged God, we have remained dominant for 100s more octals of days since that auspicious day.  We leapt past the other empires, and our mighty domain now encompasses over 32 million more light years than the second most powerful empire.  The most recent Galactic Map data shows that we have subjugated over 45% of the galaxy.  Many warriors from the old and dying empires have joined us, to avoid being eaten along with the rest.  We hunger to establish indefinite supremacy over all the inferior sentient species...

We have also been #1 on the AltMeta for over 3 years running. The Empire grows more powerful with each passing day as new conquests are won, and more warriors join us in our inevitable rise to rule the galaxy!

The Kzinti are a species of bipedal space-faring feline predators, who love nothing more than conquest and battle. Created by sci-fi writer Larry Niven, the Kzinti have had many stories written about them, most notably in the Man-Kzin Wars series of books. They have also shown up in the Star Trek universe, and a number of other realities.

you no tail freaks you say your cats but your not you have no tail so what are you and don’t tell me you cats or part of the Felinoid species like the Vedalans species or the Caitians species. Ok...ok...Kzinti have tails.

Well in the star trek universe were I come from there are Kzinti and they don’t run around free in the universe attacking every race they see. In my universe they’re on exile on their home planet. By treaty they cant have any FTL drive ships or any ships that have weapons on them.

The Vendalans and Caitians do exist. The Caitians look like cats with the fur and the ears and in several colors of fur as well but unlike the Vendalans, the Caitians can reproduce with humans and live.

A machine-being talking about prey? Your data-banks seem to be scrambled. I suggest a defrag and reboot.


We are more than just machines... your forgeting our creators programed us to have a much more... Primative side to our combat methods. Just like the Predators whom hunt alien we hunt for the game. It is all fun for us, peace is ok too... but once we get going we are very hard to make peace with. We even have back-up plan's should we loose. one which my devestate the universe as we know it and cause GALACTIC CHAOS!... not really just makes us disappear for a while into a sub-universe...

Yurika!! we never thought about it before but our sister colony has been living there for ages... they have had thousands of years to build ships. maybe they can deploy them into our reality should we fail... Milions upon milions of invations ships swooping down over our enemies... I get chills at the very thought :D.

I'm fairly disappointed in my gig map game. I switched from my normal all factory buildup to an all econ buildup after the failed upgrade attempt. My military only reached 6.9 mil by Dec 2228, a tad short of my goal of 7 mil. That's significant, because it'll dictate how the rest of the game progresses.



I went ahead with an initial submission, since I was getting tired of being an unranked senator. That doesn't sit well with me. I'll continue to work on it for the resubmit, but this one looks to fall short of a potential 900k. I think I can push it to 800k, though.



All things considered, I can't be too upset. My Kzin character is now my highest scorer. :)

Two new t'kzintar have joined the Empire today. A great welcome to Joshk50 and Garhoud el-Moulty! :D

And btw. Does anyone in the Patriarchy make ship mods? Kzin ships would be cool. And big orange balls shouldn't be that hard to make... You can even download the Kzin language font at the link I posted above to put dots-and-commas on it.

Thanks for the link, Graaf-Teacher-of-Ta'sskin. ;) I dont make any custom ships (for appearance purposes at least), but I was talking to one person over PMs who was making a Kzinti mod and wanted some info from me. He's not in the Empire, and I cant remember who it was at the moment. Check out the mods section of the forums and you might find him or the mod there. I think it might have been for a Starfleet Battles mod, or something smiliar.

Kzinti ships are big boxy smelly litter boxes in the sky.

We dont need liter boxes in space, that's what airlocks are for.  :LOL:

Mumblefratz may have the highest scoring game so far. I know he has almost got 1 million points for a game. Check out the top ten characters, and you'll probably find the best game somewhere. :)

Good Job Motti, still a very good game; can't say that I didn't wish you were in the OG instead :p

Mumblefratz has the current highest scored legal game at 957,500pts. That was played on DL. Technically, DA has the higher scoring potential (due to increased number of worlds) but no one's pulled that off yet. Also he had a confluence of luck such as an extended Economic Prosperity event; which aren't always present in every game.

In your opinion, what do you think caused it to fall short of your expectations?


I'm pretty sure it was timing. I switched from all factories to all economy too quickly and I built labs on my inner planets too soon.

Both of these steps are part of the plan and valid, but my timing was off. I can make up a little score by overbuilding my labs to stock markets, then switching back to labs later. I'll try to salvage what I can and apply what I learned to my next game. :)

Pointing at your head or mine? Mine's mostly empty, so chances are you'll miss me. :HOT:

But of course, the next game will be in my main TOE character. Can't let him slip below 25th place for long, can I? ;)

Hahaha..i guess i should have mentioned that. Oh well since i deserve it, it was pointed at my head....i am felling guilty over the large lizard feast i just had..... ;)

My giga is coming along slowly...my biggest problem for score will be that i started it on crippling, i won't make that mistake again. It is june 2229 and i have over 5.2T in pop, all the planets are built out now and i am buying/building just under 300 ships per turn. Tech tree is nearly finished then i will build over all my tech buildings with stock markets.

Not sure how much patience i have to get the ship count into the teens, especially since this is not a suicidal game, but my goal is 7K in ships, then i will upgrade and test.

Sometimes, you can still get here from the Stardock forums WWW Link when the Galciv2 forums are down. I'm logged on there now and tried sending you a PM from there. It should, in theory, reach you since it's on the same server.

Stardock also goes down once in a while, but not as often as Galciv2.

SanChonino, any contribution is much appreciated; after all our empire has the most members and even with some awesome character scores near the top, many lower scoring submissions will sum up to an important part of our total score.

Speaking about score, since today I'm no longer the lowest scoring senator...

Hi Garhoud! Quite a bit of fun playing evil isnt it? ;) Evil alignment in the game also has some advantages over the others that are pretty significant. The Mind Control alone itself with it's 100% econ bonus is awesome.
