Thank you for the previous suggestion. I tried it, and it led to some interesting results.
I managed to get the default Windows 11 taskbar running with the Start11 menu after a full reinstall, and it did indeed fix the animation delay. The taskbar is now instant.
Unfortunately, this has brought back another problem. With this setup, whenever I press the Windows key, the Start Menu appears on my secondary monitor, not my main one. I've realized this only happens with my specific display arrangement where my secondary monitor (1) is placed directly below my main monitor (2), as you can see in the first image. If I move them side-by-side (second image), the bug disappears and the menu opens correctly.
This is actually the reason I enabled the "enhanced taskbar" in the first place—it solved this menu placement issue. It seems I can either have an instant taskbar with a misplaced menu, or a correctly placed menu with a delayed taskbar.
I've attached screenshots and a video of both the problematic (stacked) and working (side-by-side) display configurations for your reference.
My physical setup requires my laptop (secondary display) to be below my main external monitor. The side-by-side arrangement, while a good troubleshooting step, isn't a viable daily workflow for me. Therefore, a fix for this bug is necessary for me to use the product properly.
I believe resolving this issue in stacked display environments is crucial for Start11 to live up to its advertised reputation as "The Industry's Most Advanced Start Menu." I consider this a high-priority bug because it misaligns with the Stardock brand identity, and I look forward to seeing it addressed in a timely manner.
Given the details above, could you please forward this report to the Support and Development Team?
Thank you again for all your input, Basj. It is highly appreciated.
