Icons are turned on to view but only 5 icons are seen, others are there if you put your mouse hover over icon. background is black, no texture used. this happen recent update to start11 yesterday. any idea
The update to Start11 was to fix problems the Windows11 update (Moment 2) caused.
Did you update to Moment 2 (KB5022913)? If you did, that's probably what's causing the icon loss.
yes, that update appears on 1/3/2023 under win11 updates. So I need to reinstall start11?

Moment 2 has a 48 pixel sized start button which can't be stretched...
Looks like it's baked in and won't change.
