Based on 1 game experience in beta 4 - the red button does appear for your teammates, thus, I assume, you can technically buy them out, However, once all rival teams are eliminated, all members of the remaining team receive 'you won' screen and cannot proceed to playing against each other. I'd say team mode needs some more polishing. It's still... weird.
