Some odd things that I've noticed in .70. Running Win7, NVidia GeForce 670, latest drivers.
Currently playing as Terran.
The ship path lines sometimes can't be seen when zoomed all the way out. It seems to be mostly the horizontal portion that disappears.
Influence seems to be way askew. The Altairans have fewer planets, and population, and galaxy coverage, but somehow have 49% of the galactic influence. I have 25%. I have half a dozen influence starbases, and most of my worlds have embassies, consulates, and ports of call.

Same with Power. I have more ships (A few cutters, mostly Overlords, and a few Avatars) than anyone else, yet the Krynn have substantially more Power than I do. I reported in another thread about the negative power problem. Here's a small sample of my army of Overlords!

Should people trading with me (i.e. the freighter originated with another race) count against my trade licenses? If that is intentional, it seems odd. It would mean there's going to be very little trade going on.
When you go to Commands and order your Shipyards to build something else, it only affects the current ship being built. Once that single ship is built, the original ship type resumes. I.E. If I have a shipyard building 3 Constructor M1's, and I research a tech that lets me build Constructor M2's, I go into the Commands, and tell my Shipyards that are building Constructor M1's to build Constructor M2's. My shipyard building M1's will build a single M2, then go back to building it's M1's.
Maybe we could have a check box that says update all ship building, or something like that?
It's not obvious how to set a rally point at an arbitrary point in space, instead of on a shipyard, starbase, or planet.
The Relations screen, and its subscreens, aren't very informative. You can't tell where your race falls in the list, and it only gives a very general view of things. Your race's position in relation to the others in Population, Wealth, etc would be really helpful. I'm not entirely sure what info the Allies and Enemies subscreens give you at all, though. There aren't lines or any kind of indicator on who's an ally of whom, and who's an enemy?
We need to be able to see the logistic values of ships, I think. And the total logistics you have at that point, without having to form or find a fleet first.
In the Researches list tab on the right (next to Rally Points), Elerium uses the same icon as Antimatter (Yellow instead of blue). Should it list Precursor Relicstoo, btw?
My planets all have 100 Approval, but my total Approval rating is 99.
Icons for whether a planet/starbase is defended or not need to be visible when zoomed all the way out. The Selected item indicator also needs to be visible when zoomed all the way out.
