[.99][Balance] - Is Kitty OP?

Kitty is very, very powerful early game. I will complete the quest for the XP but probably will only use her at Challenging or above (where I've been having more difficulty these last few patches).

My only concern is, newer players may have different experiences in different games whether or not they get her or not. Thoughts?

If you are referring to Kitty as the event, I've never been so lucky as to get any event in the early game. So no I can't exactly agree its OP.

Also, I believe this event is also exploitable for free XP. Accept the quest (+3 xp), but decline the fight with the ruffians. Quest restarts: accept the quest (+3 xp), but decline the fight with ruffians. Quest restarts: accept the quest (+3 xp) ... etc

The fix is easy, instead of sending it back to objective 0, send it back to objective 1.

No. (IMHO)

[Later Edit] To be more explicit, I think "Kitty" is the best Quest Reward (in terms of *Fun*) that I have seen, in approximately 100 hours of playing E:FE. I loved getting Kitty, as a Mage's "Familiar" (non-human companion) in a recent game I played. Much better than some mangy old wolf, or fragile puppy dog! To be sure, she is more powerful than the former two; but not Over-Powered, IMO.
