First, three words.

Mr. Derek Paxton

Some elaboration...I Loved his work in Civ 4 and feel quite strongly his mod far surpassed an already great game.  In fact, over time, I could no longer play civ 4, only his mod.

Flash forward....Was eagerly awaiting EWOM and was quite disappointed with the game.  Shocking, no? 

Along comes Mr. Paxton.......Can't say I am surprised with the results, but can sure say I'm pleased, nay, make that thrilled.

A thanks to Brad as well......in an era where so many CEO's just continue to fail and never admit to it, and just continue to repeat their mistakes...Brad took full ownership for a weak release......promised us a fix and did he ever deliver......

I have nothing but total respect and admiration for Stardock for how this was handled.  Name another company that has ever taken ownership and accountability as they have.......A free game that will now likely become the standard that all others in the genre will look to emulate....that's FREE. read my lips. Unheard of these days.......Look at how Bioware/EA is handling their current debacle....Perhaps they need to Speak to Brad?

Final thoughts - A very large and heartfelt THANK YOU to STARDOCK in general and to these two gentleman.  I do realize they had help.....but they were wearing the crown on this one and they have worn it VERY well.

P.S. - Either of you two available to run for President?  I'm certain either of you could do a better job than the current jobholder.
