Is the 64 bit version out yet? If not will it be in version 1.1?
There is currently not a 64-bit version of Elemental. I can't speak to future versions of Elemental.
We do still plan to release a 64bit version in the future, but it's down the road a ways yet.
What will 64 bit add to the game? Besides larger maps.
What will x64 do for this game? expanded memory usage on big maps?

64-bit allows for much bigger maps.
Can it also allow for more factions to play against? Right now with the Elves and Undead mods one fraction has to sit out. Now with the Orcs two have to sit out. I would love to fight against everyone on a huge map!
