Good:
Squads are finally feel balanced vs. single units and no longer deal excessive damage.
You can no longer stack multiple of the same item type (i.e. ring), but system would make more sense if you were limited to 2 rings and 1 necklace. Your Sovereign isn't Mr.T after all.
Bad:
Military tech tree is still bloated, especially now that weapons are all the same. Merge all weapon "trees".
Catapults are overpowered at sniping key targets, they need to do less damage to heroes/single units and have shorter range.
Area of Effect spells deal disproportionally a lot of damage per mana cost. Reduce all AoE area to 4 squares and/or reduce damage.
Memory leak is still there.
I am still drowning in materials but always short on gold (even with multiple gold mines).
Warlord trait (2 starting units), when inherited leads to bugged sentinels spawning.
15 mana teleport makes it unusable unless your Sovereign focuses on spellcasting. Way too expensive.
Things that make no sense:
Enemy sovereigns still suicide attacking your cities resulting in empire loss (can we implement succession already?)
Diplomacy makes no sense - AI has no idea when it lost badly and should beg for mercy/accept terms.
Building hedge walls/fort/fortress does no affect "field of battle" but rather provides very significant bonus to defending army. Plate + Shield + Fortress = nearly invulnerable units. I would love to see some "siege" maps with destructible walls/moats where ranged attacks play big role.
