Inaccurate Impulse 'Failed' Message at End of Install

After a one hour down-load and several min. installing EWOM a small window from Impulse popped up stating:

Adding Elemental War of Magic Failed  0x80004005

After closing that pop-up the main Impulse window stated that EWOM was installed.  The game appears to be working well.

(Win7-64 with Nvidia 470)

Strange.

It's an error relating to the adding to Windows Games Explorer code. Did you have a previous beta installed? Was that beta uninstalled through Impulse or wiped manually? As you said, click through it, game will run fine.

I did have a beta installed.  I used Impulse to delete it and then removed a couple of Elemental directories by hand that were left over.

 

Game still working well.  Thanks
