I know this isn't a "PC" game, but I wanted to talk about it anyway. I rented this the night before last and I gotta say this game is F*&^ING Amazing!!! I don't really get into button mashing action games very much either but this one just has a awe-inspiring appeal to it. If you've ever read or heard of "The Divine Comedy" then you know the tale of Dante. The game takes some liberties with the story but the over-all concept is there and the very descriptive nature of Hell is put front and center.

This game is not for the youngins though, not at all. I'd let my 16 or 17 year old play it, but not my 12 or 13 year old (I'm not a parent though). This game has boobs in every other scene, twisted naked chicks and dead babies and demons from hell and all kinds of gore and violence. I don't know, maybe I'm a sick twisted S.O.B. but I can't get enough of this game. If you've got a X-Box360 or a PS3 then give this one a rental or if you're a fan of action games then just go ahead and buy this one.

Some of the reviews out say it gets repetitive near the end but I don't think that's the case. You have to take the game for what it is. Look at the first Diablo. By the end of the game the level you were in had every enemy you had ran across in the game and you were fighting them all. The same applies with Dante's Inferno. The level design for every level is masterfully done. For a action game it doesn't get any better then this. If you ask me this game makes God of War look like Super Mario Brothers by comparison.
