Force Unleashed 2, coming 2010

YES!!!!

Has everyone seen the teaser trailer for Force Unleashed 2? Check it out Here. Star Wars; The Force Unleashed is probably the best Star Wars game I've ever played (since Super Star Wars back on the SNES). I'm completely stoked about a sequel.

Also for those who notice little things, the guy who plays "Starkiller" the secret apprentice, is the same guy who played Doomsday in "human form" on Smallville. (Yes I know, Doomsday doesn't have a human form, they changed that for the TV show)

It's going to be another console port of another mediocre console game.  I doubt many people on these forums are interested in that.  What I really want LucasArts to do is make a sequel to Republic Commando, or a new TIE Fighter or X-Wing game.

There was nothing special about the storyline in TFU, nor was anything else all that amazing, not even the over-hyped physics engine they never shup up about.

Yet, inexplicably, it was a lot of fun. I played through it multiple times, always enjoying smashing my way through level after level (with the exception of that stupid Star Destroyer thing).

It's exactly the type of experience I have my consoles for, and I will certainly pick it up.

Granted I would tend to agree a PC port would probably not be that great, but this I play on my X-Box360. I've got the first Force Unleashed and it's my all time favorite Star Wars game to date. The physics system they incorporated into the game is simply amazing. It's something that rivals the physics systems I've seen in most PC games with physics. You literally can't throw a Storm Trooper the same way twice. You can levitate a guy and if he's standing near his friends he'll reach out and grab one of them and take him along for the ride on your force push too. It really is a awesome game.

Me too. I've got all the Jedi Knight games. A couple of years ago I was pretty big in the duel circuit for multiplayer in Jedi Accedmy. I did a whole bunch of custom skins for some clans too. I could totally get back into that scene if they made another game. The multiplayer community for it is still going strong even now.

Man, the physics system in the first game was awesome. You must have been playing some other force unleashed

You're right though, it's definitely a experience for the console unless the PC port is amazing (which it most likely won't be). But for the console it's gonna be awesome. I normally only buy a few console games a year where as I buy usually 50 or more PC games in a year, but this will be one of the console games I won't miss.

Im getting it on pc, but ya I do miss the old days of Jedi Knight... Yes it feels like a port but hopefully they will improve this time.

But yes I also wanting Lucasarts to kick out a Xwing, Tie Fighter, or Xwing vs Tie Fighter...

Who cares? It's console fare - the port to PC was quite possibly the most horrible mess I've ever had the misfortune to install on my harddrive. I am so glad I'm one of those filthy pirates, or I would've had to kill myself over the complete waste of money it would've been.
