- A Camouflage ability was added. It can be equipped at the Pirate base and activated on the ship screen by right-clicking on the ship.

- It's possible to sell unwanted MicroModules at Ranger Centres in exchange for nodes.
- The player will receive a new years present from one Ranger Centre each year. Usually a MicroModule.
- Added log-book, where a player can write their notes. F1 activates it and Ctrl+Delete clears it. In addition every time you land on a planet it is uploaded with local news for further reading. (Max amount of news uploaded can be set in game settings).
Search:
- It's possible to get space stations goods prices through search.
- You can now search for equipment and hulls using specific parameters (i.e. size, cost, capability etc.).
- Shows tech level of equipment.
- Added new MicroModules, capable of opening some closed ship's slots:
A) Third level MM. Opens scanner, radar, and afterburner slots.
B ) Second level MM. Opens shield generator and gripper slots.
C) Second level MM. Opens droid and gripper slots.
D) First level MM. Opens one weapon slot and one artefact slot.
E) First level MM. Opens two weapons slots.
F) First level MM. Opens two artefacts slots.
Artefact Feature Changes:
- The Bioworld artefact shows stims and disease expiration dates, plus increase player's immunity to the diseases.
- Probability Analyser foretells Dominators assaults on systems.
- Polariser artefact has a small chance to deflect incoming damage onto enemy.
- Rocketang allows the player to destroy their own missiles by remote command.
- The Nanitoids will first repair equipment that is equipped, it will then repair anything in the hold. However they are unable to repair Vertixes, IMHOs or Torpedo-Tubes.
- Transfactor Beacon - The player gets "Radiation Sickness" when its used. This disease decreases XP given for Dominator kills. It has no cure but will expire after a month or two by itself.
- Scanner Cache allows the player to see enemy's HitPoints in hyperspace.
- Scanner Cache is able to show additional ship's info in space: droid repair rate; Total damage potentially dealt; attack and defence skills. It will also show the speed and damage potential of torpedo/rocket when pointed over with mouse.
- Droid Junior will now conduct repairs in Hyperspace, but 10x slower than a First Aid bonus would.
- The Prolonger will now give you a count of ships in other star systems (via the Galaxy map). A general count of ships will appear under the star name, detailed info can be gleaned by right clicking on a star. A breakdown of how it works follows:
-= The Range is 1/100th of your Radars range - this won't include MicroModule range increases. i.e. A starting range 1200 Radar will allow scanning of up to 12 parsecs.
-= The Prolonger Scanning range is shown via the Yellow circle on the Galaxy Map.
-= The information shows ship types too.
-=+ This detailed information requires a scanner fitted on your ship.
-=+ "Unknown" is the number of vessels in the system that you cannot determine the type of. These vessels all have "Defence Levels" higher than your Scanner level.
-=+ For Coalition ships, it will say: "R W P T L D" in yellow with a white number after each. The letter is the ship type and the number is the number of that type in the system (including landed). The letters stand for: "Ranger, Warship, Pirate, Transport, Liner, Diplomat".
-=+ Dominator ships are listed by ship type from large to small, showing the letters "E U S M S" - "Equentor, Urgant, Smersh, Menok, Shtip". The colour of the letter is Series specific - Blazers are red, Terrons green and Kelloroids are Blue.
-=+ What does the purple bracketed number mean?
Tranculator Changes:
- Equipment never breaks on it.
- Added new orders for it: "collect the loot" and "drop the loot".
- New command for the Tranclucator: "land at planet/base and remain in warehouse".
- Will not collect probes.
- Equipment will wear on it.
- Rockets are limited.
- It's now possible to stop Tranculator swapping older items with newer ones that it has picked up.
- Can change its name by clicking on it.
- Scanning it will allow you to change its equipment setup.
- Activating it on a planet or base will send it to the Hanger.
- When returning back to the players ship, the cargo will be unloaded to the players hold.
- Possible to allow/prohibit items to be collected by it.
- When its cargo becomes full it lands at the planet (which should have relation no less than normal towards the player) and unloads loot in warehouse of the owner (can be prohibited).
See also "Hotkeys" section.
Misc. Changes
- Added additional stats to Rangers Rating screen: it now also shows pirate, trade and military rating, totalling 100. Also tallies the number of hyperspace foes defeated by the Player.
- "Intercom" works only if a player's scanner can break through the Dominator's shield generator. However, bosses are always willing to speak to player.
- Players wealth now includes all items stored in the ship and on planets/bases.
- It's now possible to see a weapon's tech level in the Equipments Info window.
- Significantly more info shown about warehouse stored items and working probes.
- Wave phaser deals chain damage up to a maximum of 3 targets.
- Maximum number of torpedoes/rockets in launcher depends now on the level of weapon.
- The Player can now receive shameful medals for some bad deeds.
- Vertixes, IMHO9000 and Torpedo-tubes can be repaired only on science or pirate bases (as with artefacts). The cost to repair will be in both money and nodes.
- Dominator equipment can be upgraded on science stations like regular equipment, but it will cost both money and nodes to do so.
- Military base's repairing discount now depends on player's rank: from 10% for Rookie to 70% for Commodore.
- It's now possible to fire a partner before the end of the contract.
- Shooting at a canister will result in it blowing up. Damage dealt to nearby ships is proportional to the amount of fuel stored in it.
- Player can be rewarded (with money) for shooting down asteroids.
- Gripper's range and speed of drawing things in now depend on the Gripper's tech level. MicroModule 'Magnicum' adds 5 to range, MicroModule 'Hokus' subtracts 10 from range. It's possible to improve a Gripper's range on science bases.
- A delete button was added to the High Score page and allows the Player to delete their own scores from the ranking.
Misc. Less significant changes:
- Added additional notification for 'Mysterious Luatanza' disease.
- The Hypergenerator artefact will no longer shorten your jump length if your engine can jump more than 40 Parsecs.
- Vertixes and IMHO9000 looted from Urgants are as large as Equentor`s Vertixes and IMHOs.
- AI acts smarter when it is nearby to Quark Bombs and Canisters.
- Rockets and Torpedoes will lose their target if it becomes friendly to the firer.
- A system changes its owner to another series of Dominators only if there are no other Dominator series present.
- Vertixes will only destroy enemy missiles now.
- Dominators no longer shoot at quark bombs.
- Blazer will try to escape the system when there is a danger to his life.
- It is no longer possible to change MicroModules dropped from a Dominator by reloading the game.
- Pirate bases no longer sell nodes, they can only be looted from Dominators now.
- MicroModule prices at Ranger Centres were reduced.
- XP given for Dominator kills depends on the Dominators difficulty. The higher the Dominators difficulty the less XP will be given [note - the Military base information doesn't reflect this].
- It's now possible to refuel Fuel tanks and recharge missile weapons partially.
- Having Anti Keller program 'dematerializer' now eases hyperspace battle with Keller.
- AI ships no longer collect the probes in space.
- AI ships will use artefacts, if they get them from somewhere.
- Multi-hit/area-effect weapons only hit hostile ships.
- If a player wears camouflage, then multi-hit/area-effect weapons will not shoot at 'friendly' Dominators.
- Torpedo after losing its current target starts to seek a new enemy target and automatically attacks it. If there are no enemy targets then torpedo returns back into owner's torpedo-tube.
Modding:
- It's possible to edit ships' names (Mods\ShipName.txt file) and base names (Mods\RuinName.txt file)
