well i spose the Rulebook thread would be the most likely candidate since in a way we are proposing "rule" changes in a way.

Well head to head was part of my original proposal for how the league could work. I envisioned 12 teams but 6 would work just as well.

I'm for it, but changes would be needed. We would need to assign points to a round win, like your favorite football league might be structured. The 12, 13 or 14 points your team might garner for the round would be used to break ties. If your team was victorious over your opponent (outscored them 14pts -11pts for example) thne your team would be awarded say, 5 points. These points decide where on the league ladder your team sits, with any ties broke with the round points.

Obviously with 6 teams so we need 3 months for every team to play each team once each, so perhaps the season could go 6 months, you play each team twice.

Drawbacks...We would not be able to add new teams in that time. Should the league garner enough players in that time to warrant a team G we would not be able to implement that team till either the 3 month mark or the 6 month mark. At 3 months we would have to start a new season.

Other than that, which is not high in likely hood to happen i think we could make it work.

Meh. I'm pretty sure I could do better, but I'm not going to try this one 20 times to see my best. I only had a single +300% tile the whole game...

I haven't heard anything from Sunburn4. He hasn't responded to the PM I sent him on 3/31. I also haven't noticed any response from him in any MVL thread either.

My submission this round. Since i have become rather familiar with the ZYW's i was sure i could get a ZYW conquest with these settings. And...i did!

I only tried once, but my hats off to you for doing this. I had problems getting enough population for my troops, even using mass drivers on invasions. With no Super Abilities I lost the ability to use spore ships, and it left me with a breeding problem...

mmm just got my dual monitors set up. i can FINALLY set up my MVL game without having to write down the settings!

In other news, I am slightly concerned, especially after the events of Round 7, of players finding the MVL to be more of a task and not something fun to enjoy. I really want to make sure that doesn't occur. I'll move this over to the Rulebook thread I think but what about MVP awards and also All-League Awards (though the ALAs would only be given based on participation, sportsmanship, and benefits to the League as a whole).

And what the hell happened with all the taunting (or lack thereof)?
