Thanks Yrag & Tech Cat, I tried looking for the WindowBlinds4 file in my files but it's not very specific which one it is. And I thought about simply uninstalling Stardock altogether and then re-installing it, but wouldn't that mean losing everything I've downloaded into Winstyles, WindowBlinds3.5 and so on? And I'm sorry Yrag, I'm sure your instructions make perfect sense, but I think my saying I'm not familiar was probably understated, I'm probably more like stuck in a ditch on the in

I thought of looking in my Add/Remove to uninstall it but I guess since my WindowBlinds is listed together within Stardock Central and not seperately it doesn't show up to remove it. Stardock Central & Objectdock are there but that doesn't help. Yrag...any chance you could explain what you mean by copying it to my C:\root directory to uninstall it? I'm not familiar with what your talking about, but a little roadmap will help out.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can uninstall WindowBlinds4 in Stardock Central? I have tried several times but it says it encountered an error. The reason I need to uninstall is so that I can re-install it to hopefully correct this Wbload.exe issue I'm having which seems to be causing some problems with WindowBlinds not functioning correctly. And if anyone has any idea as to how to fix the WBload.exe problem I'm all ears...errr...eyes.

Yes, I reboot after I uninstalled, re-install, upgrade, downgrade, and sometimes just for the hell of it....lol I didn't have any problems until I downloaded the 4.19Beta version of WindowBlinds. I just had to uninstall both versions again. I had re-installed the older version and everything was working fine again, then I figured I give it another shot at re-installing WindowBlinds4 which is what I had in the first place and everything worked, but now even that one is messing things up

An update to my previous post. I tried updating WindowBlinds4 and encountered the same problem..."Wbload.exe encountered a problem and has to close"...it also deleted some of the skins I downloaded previously. Before it started with the error prompt it only half skinned windows, as in it colored the background of windows but did not apply the skin. If anyone has any idea why this is happening it would be greatly appreciated.

What started all this was...I enabled the "Show pre-release versions" in stardock when it was loading. Then I downloaded the beta versions of WindowBlinds and restarted my PC. After that I couldn't use either version of WindowBlinds and my startbar skin also disappeared. When I would click on either version of WindowBlinds in SDC I would just get the "Wbload.exe encountered a problem and has to close" prompt and wouldn't open WindowBlinds. I didn't know anything about archiving since I'm still s

I get a "Wbload.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" prompt and I can't even use WindowBlinds now. I also get the Stardock Central Updates window with nothing in it to update. Is there any way to undo the upgrade and get back to a working version? Citizen WebGizmos

I just downloaded the 4.19beta version of WindowBlinds and wound up with nothing more than problems. Now the Stardock Central Updates window comes up with nothing in it. When trying to open WindowBlinds or WindowBlinds4 in Stardock Central all I get is the error prompt..."WBload.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close"...so I can no longer access WindowBlinds. So what I need to know from anyone is how do I undo this problem and get back to the previous version of WindowBlinds that I'm

While logged into Stardock Central, and then clicking on "Web Browser" at the top, I come to a page that says..."Your access level does not permit you to download the WinCustomize Premium Skin Suites. To obtain access you must be a WinCustomize Subscriber. Click here to learn more about the WinCustomize Subscription or purchase it now!"...But according to what I read after "click here" I should have Level 3 access since I have purchased the "Object Desktop" package. So can anyone tell me what th

Ahhh! It's good to converse directly with the mad scientist that put Colony together!... I'm using, and have downloaded the Colony1024 skin that has been posted here at WinCustomize. I've yet to find anything else that hasn't been skinned, and yes I believe the shellstyle panes are skinned. (Great skin by the way!) Do you have a link to the most updated version of this skin? (I know....dumb question!)... <

Hi MIke, Right now I'm using the Colony skin. It skins everything except the part when you click start (which it skins), then logoff or turn off computer. The prompts that pop up after clicking either of those 2 things aren't skinned. But, the cancel button is, which is weird. Iwould think if it skinned the button the rest would be as well. Steve

When I first downloaded my Stardock Central I discovered that I had to download or update many of the applications. If you left click once on an application you should see to the right if you need to update or download anything. Hope this helps. Steve

Hi Guys, Ok, when I apply a skin that shows that it will skin things like the "Turn Off Computer" or "Log Off Windows" prompts it doesn't skin them like shown in the suite. The only thing that gets skinned is the "Cancel" button. Everything else seems to work fine except for those 2 things. Can anyone tell me why? Thanks, Steve
