Another first victory... (1st game) in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Just finally finishedmy first game. Been playing it a couple days. Probably took 20 hours hehe. Factoring in the learning curve, reading while playing etc etc etc. I got a Cultural Victory. Was on "simple" difficulty but that was plenty for my first game. Basically I researched the hell out of stuff, played populist party, and jumped on populating like 6 systems pretty early. Greetings everyone. New player to the game. I couldnt wait to find a retail copy so I just bought it online last night and downloaded everything. I was lost for the first 2 hours or so but slowly started figuring it out. The game is great so far. I have a couple quick questions off the top of my head for anyone that has a second... 1) The govenors..I see a couple names there and like a guy named something Ford is selected I think?
