Modding the events, anomalies, etc. in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I have been poking around these files (.EVENT, .ANOMALY, etc.) and have a bunch of ideas, but am held back by the lack of a guide. Is there a guide somewhere that explains the parameters of the events, etc? I would love to share some with you all... M

Are there any numbers on what the ideal population is for a specific class of a planet? I learned about this problem the hard way when I dropped 4 billion people on a class 13 planet. Yikes! M
