When publishers, throught their actions, continually insist on pushing their prospective customers (not consumers) to the warez scene, who can blame them (the customers) when they eventually download the game without buying it.

Well: The most fun multiplayer I have had would be [B]Duke Nukem 3D[/B] -- 4 player coop on the hardest difficulty, 2 guys with shotguns and 2 using pipebombs to blow up corpses to avoid respawns.. What I would like to see as well is something akin to what the old fps server browsers did.. They scanned your computer for games they supported, then added them to the list. I have a lot of games installed, mostly because I never seem to finish a game before I buy another (oh look, shiny!) But I would still like to get a shortcut to all of them. @Kryo: Well, on the subject of SDC it is not that hard to redownload and reinstall it, but when all it took to make the already installed product (in terms of files) to work was giving it 2 registry entries and modifying 1 it would be equally simple to make it just 'work' without that registry information. Considering that Mass Effect had been out for the XBOX three-sexy for a year(ish) already I would have thought they did everything they could to sell a few copies of the game on the PC, and that would mean making it as EASY AS POSSIBLE to get and play the game. Without any DRM at all. They also failed to realize that DRM systems only harm the customers of the product, that drm is inherently flawed and hostile towards customers.. and as such it should come as no surprise that they met the end they did. The only winners when a company uses DRM to restrict their product are those who avoid purchasing it.

And when I had already entered all my codes into stardock central I would have hoped activate.exe (or whatever it was called) would utilize that information so I would not have to retype it into a skinned application that did not look like it was part of stardock central (since it was not, why not?).
