So long as there are more than 5 events for $5, I'm fine with it. I hate DLC but I see the way the winds are blowing. I only get really outraged when I feel I'm being flim-flammed by crappy deals. That's why I got upset earlier. No less than Brad Wardell himself assured me personally that the DLC contains more than what was shown. As he and his company have never given me reason to doubt his word, I've dropped my own complaint. Don't think my eye has wavered. If I

Brad admitted the marketing team messed up. My outrage is justified until I know the true value of what people are buying. If it's worth the money, I'll offer a full apology and buy two copies of the DLC on the spot (one for my wife and one for me.) I'm not an unreasonable person. I just have a major-league hatred for profit-first gaming companies. If anything, player-first and profit-first should be so closely tied together as to be indistinguishable from one another. If

I don't see a problem with that theory at all and if this had been at a better price point (or had more super mega events,) I wouldn't have any complaints. It may seem like small potatoes but, like I said, this is about principles. This can and has snowballed into nickel-and-diming the consumer elsewhere and I thought Stardock, of all companies, was above this. I'm still going to buy it when it becomes a viable buy. Until then, I'm going to march in my robe and tinfoil
Now you see, if you had said this, I don't think you would have gotten as much pushback. But when you open up swearing at and cursing out Stardock.... Well, what do you expect? Make a civil argument, get civil replies. Make a coarse, emotive, argument, you get McDonalds replies. It's the principle of the thing. I would pay $2 for it (and when it goes on sale, I'm going to) but I expected better of Stardock. The map pack included an editor. For $5, that's a good price. Hell, for $10, that's still a good buy if you're into it. This is just exploiting completionists (like me) and I won't sit idly by. I will (and have) voice my displeasure. This is a rip-off. I mean if this included a similar editor or
There is still absolutely nothing preventing a synthetic race from taking any of the food/pop growth related traits, whether positive or negative despite this being in the patch notes since 1.10
I can confirm this.

Honestly, my complaints about the game are small and related mostly to accessibility issues (and "medium" ui size is coming soon.) I played and loved GC2 and I'm playing and loving GC3. I agree with that one review that said this game is planning for the long haul. I can see tons of areas where expacs could be put out to really make this game shine like DA and ToA did for GC2.

Never mind. They're working. You should do screens or something to show which colors are added by what. All the same, THANK YOU! Insane amount of civs, here I come! :P Correction, Insane amount of civs, here I come after someone figures out how to add a scroll. :)
