They were partying last night, citywide, and it was just a championship game. The police had to shut down several "hot spots" in the city because of people celebrating. We baseball fans area bit more "low key".

Of course. But then, I admit, I do like baseball. I just wouldn't be like the majority of idiots like those I saw last night. Like the kid who decided to stop in the middle of the crosswalk last night while I was trying to turn the corner, so he could wave his "Terrible Towel" above his head. Steeler fans don't think a good bit of the time.
Let's get this out of the way right now. No, I didn't watch the game. No, I didn't see Incredible Play "A" , Defensive Play "B" , or Heart-Stopping Play "C" . No, I won't be watching the Super Bowl. No, I don't like football. Now, it might seem a bit strange to open a rant wit
Beta News doth rock, indeed. I've also been following coverage from Gizmodo and Engadget. Too bad I couldn't convince my boss to send me to CES. Maybe next year...NOT!
I'm in favor of WindowBlinds, CursorsXP and Icon Packager, but mostly because those are the three I use most often.
And then, six weeks later... In the 38-odd years I've spent on this planet, I'd never broken anything major. Sure, there were cuts and scrapes, the scar here and there, tonsils removed and chunks of half-swallowed chicken removed, but I'd never broken anything. That is, until about six weeks back, when I broke two bones in
What a truly interesting this year has been. Merry Christmas, everyone...and here's to a good 2006 for us all.
What happends if I feed him after midnight? Of course, I won't ask what happens if you get him wet...you'll fry your PC.
Thank you, my dear.
The lady who left this comment in a wonderful, wonderful woman...kind, warm and caring. I understand what she's going through, and although we're not together, I hope she knows how much I care for her, and consider her a dear, dear friend.
Yeah, my kid knows, and she's blaming herself for it, even thought it was my stupidity that caused it... "_
Nah. I don't think there'll be a next time...
I don't think there'll be a next time, really. Eh, it's all good. I'm not one to do things the easy way anyway... Normally, I'm really laid back and easy going. It just got the better of me. Thanks!
My right hand is broken. It's a boxer's fracture: A bone in the knuckle of the pinky, and a fracture in the meticarpule itself. At least I don't have a full cast on...just a half-splint that I can remove to shower. Doesn't hurt, but it's a life lesson...for both me and my kid. Oh, well...<!-- Ju-Anchor-
Link Freedom to Tinker is posting that the web-based uninstaller Sony has provided can, under certain circumstances, open a bigger security hole! They're working on providing a demonstration.
Very, very, very cool! (Although it does seem like I'm in the middle of nowhere...no one wants to be near me. Sniff)
My hand hurts. Of course, when one proceeds to punch a hard wall (although, in my defense, it was carpeted and I believed it to be well paded...which it wasn't), one should expect pain afterwards. Punching things isn't the smartest thing to do, but when you're angry, upset, or mad, rational thought isn't exactly at the for
In case you missed it, it looks like a second piece of malware is installed. According to this Link from Boing Boing, a blogger at Freedom to Tinker found another piece of spyware, courtesy from a company called SunnComm. Link BoingBoing posted this summary: * Is installed onto the
Sony has long felt the need to use proprietary standards. I loved the concept of the Mini Disc...I actually owned one before I owned an iPod, but I was frustrated with their need for a proprietary coded (the ATRAC standard sucks...made my music sound like crap), and you had to use THEIR software to install it. We could sit here all day and list all of Sony's proprietary formats...ATRAC, Memory Stick, UMD, Mini Disc, just for starters.<b
Thank you.
I have a kid. Granted, this isn't a spectacular revelation. Many people in the world have kids, so that doesn't make me any better or worse than anyone else. However, my kid is a little different. She has problems with her health...so she has some special needs, and requires a bit more attention than other kids her age.</
Don't worry. The systray icon will be back! Excellent!
Sorry...I've been out of town on a family emergency. Couldn't get online. Hmm. That sucks. I liked having the icon there to change skins. Made it nice and easy. Thanks for letting me know!
The last time I went to visit my family in Southern California, it rained. It was a brief, and somewhat unplanned short trip almost two years ago...my plans to visit someone else fell through, so I took advantage of the long weekend and headed out to visit my family. Today, I'm headed back to see them again, and once again, the f
Okay, guys. So I'm "testing" WB5 on a laptop (activated and all...this system is one that I can wipe and rebuild quickly should it get infected, so I'm willing to let it play online a bit more), and I've got a question about WB5: What happened to the system tray icon? The settings say it should be there (in the settings, the box has a check in it, but its grayed out). Is this something with the beta, or what? WB
