http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2015/05/14/wot-i-think-galactic-civilizations-iii/ I think it is a pretty fair review overall, I agree with the general theme that the game currently has a lot of future potential but what is there is solid.

Hello all, firstly I am guessing this is something that has been mentioned before (I know I have previously posted about this in an alpha feedback post waaay back). I am hoping to see the process of cancelling a rushed building being tweaked. Basically at the moment if you cancel a rushed building on the turn you initiate the rush you lose the credits used to ru

Many thanks to the all of the devs for the hard work and keeping us up to date. I won't lie...I was a bit anxious about my Elite Founders purchase initially but with the game looking pretty solid now and the promise of a few years worth of new content I am really excited. I think the game is currently a great base to build upon. Good luck with the release [e digicons]^_^[/e]
Great! Quill is always good to watch. Nice competition as well.

I second Quill18...probably one of the best 4X / Strategy youtubers. https://www.youtube.com/user/quill18
No idea if you have played it but despite them being obviously very different types of games I am getting some 'Banished' vibes from this, I think it is the resources, professions along with the seasons and survivalism aspects. The tribe traits also remind me of Crusader Kings 2 as well (easily one of my favorite games). Having only heard of it vaguely before now I have to say the game looks really nice and the music is fantastic. I will certainly be keepin
Just another confirmation of this bug, if you don't load the ship straight away you get stuck.

I was having some issues with crashing running the new beta...after many launches and eventually getting the game to run windows would pop up with out of memory errors and eventually close the game. After a bit of googling I worked out that when recently installing and setting up a new SSD the 'Samsung Magician' tool I used had set virtual memory options to rather low levels (maximum of 1GB available) and this seemingly was what was causing the crashes and error
Had zero idea this was coming today...now incredibly excited. *waits*
Picked this up for myself today, have put two hours into it so far and I am rather impressed. It is tackling a lot of stuff in a pretty different way to what most 4X games do which is rather refreshing.
Any word on Steam Workshop support (or something equivalent) for sharing user made quests?
I would welcome something like this, it creates some attachment to your fleets and their accomplishments. On this sort of topic....I think the wrong way to do it is like Rome II, in that game your generals would get % based stat increases (like 2% movement, 3% damage), it is always best if the levels for leaders/fleets feel like they are making an important difference to the game. I would always rather have fewer levels that have an impact on the
Really good interview and some interesting questions. All of the AI/DM stuff does indeed sound incredibly exciting, if they can implement some of the more unique curveballs that Brad mentioned I think it would add a lot to the game and really set it apart while also making each individual game more unique to play. Also....GET IN THOSE FLYING UNITS [e digicons]^_^[/e]
As this is on the latest internal build I am hoping that we get to see some more fleshed out minor races/diplomacy. My questions: 1. What does interaction/diplomacy with the minor races entail, are you receiving buffs from them, gifts (units, materials, weapons, crafting plans) or do they become properly assimilated into your own empire (as in you get their cities and units). 2. Have you considered having a vis
Not sure if I am having a run of bad luck or just missing some game mechanic but in the game I am currently playing I am having zero luck in finding the Sorcerer Kings champions who hold the gate keys. I am only on a small map but it has become somewhat tedious to hunt them down due to how many units the SK now has on the map and the fairly slow movement of my units. Maybe I am just missing something here but I feel that the champion key holders should become marked on
So I have managed to actually put a few hours into the game now and have really enjoyed what I have tried so far, I think visually it looks great and the overall mechanics and changes from FE and LH are something I really like for the most part. I am looking forward to seeing the direction the game goes in. I just wanted to post a few thoughts so far: - [SUGGESTION] I kind of miss the look of multipl

I somewhat disagree Nerhesi. Asymmetrical gameplay like this is still fairly uncommon in most games and that alone makes it interesting to me personally. You are not competing with other empires here...you are fighting THE empire and scrambling together a last alliance of races to fight it, provided the diplomacy is interesting and there is enough variance possible between different games and starter races so you don't feel railroaded I think that while perhaps not
