yum, broccoli and fresh asparagus. veggies are good, but they must be tempered with meat. no meal is complete without some sort of dead animal. You know too much...and I only raised three tough guys...narrows the field, don't it. Since you don't write stories about slashers, and killings and skeletons or Humbordt...I'm guessin' you must be my Tigerboy...heh? guilty, it was fun making you wonder a little. and you said it earlier, you do have a fan, pop.

so of course i spent a few years, a few years ago trying like hell to get a mid level to major label to "sign" my band. when i actually got some attention, i backed off like crazy. the shit they wanted us to do was insane, and we would make no money. a group out of denver signed with a european label who had them touring all over europe every year for three years on their own dime. craziness. i got several offers from various labels, and never even told the rest of my band beca

hey dan. you are right. but i think it would be good if the government found ways of making money, rather than just spending it. its trickier than just making us gov road crews or other things, but i've thought of this before. what if our gov. had a product, something tangible that we would technically all own a part of, that made some money? think about that for a minute.

huh, i actually kinda agree with gene here. i think that we would all be better off if the government would be more responsible for infrastructure. but everything comes at a cost. i do think that we should do away with a lot of the welfare handouts and social programs, and a lot of other things that we waste our taxpayer money on. we could cut back in a ton of places, i could go on and so could most of you. the point is, our gov. takes responsibility for things it sho

say that to his face...it's really funny...go ahead! life, i have never been afraid to talk a little trash to your husband. i'll admit that its not the smartest thing a guy can do, but he's not the only tough guy that bfd raised. just the smelliest. ha!

hey, this is a little late i guess, but i just read it. i remember my grandfather had plums in his back yard. we weren't there a lot, but when we were, i loved to eat them. i don't remember if they were good or not, i just loved being there and eating the plums.

man, i just like food. who knew that hbw would be such a tough guy, but afraid of a little bean. and someone who don't like refried beans needs his head looked at. next we'll find out that he doesn't like popcorn or rootbeer or something. according to most chili cook-offs, chili has no chunks accept for meat. beef. sounds boring to me, but what do i know about fine dining?

you know, i just kind of breezed through the last bit of this, but its funny that the dems blocked drilling in the gulf of mexico, but they support the idea of letting the mexicans drill there. which proves that they don't really care about the environment, they just don't want what would be best for america. non oil answers are too far away. we need oil answers before we need non oil answers. its a waste of time to try and have this kind of discussion on a page with col gene.

"enlightened" people don't really believe that history repeats. you know as well asi i do, that all we have to do these days is nice an enemy to death, then everyone wins. (if you still beleive in such things as winning and losing)

here's my prediction, we aren't going to let the senate get loaded down to one side or the other. that truly doesn't serve what most americans want. but you have a little time to drool over the idea i guess.

so while i will never be ashamed of being a christian, those christians should be ashamed of themselves. its worse knowing that they had time to decide how to handle this, and this is what they came up with. is this kind of thing what we elected these people to do? are these people really representing us?

you guys are funny. dan, polls are pretty accurate most of the time. if they weren't we wouldn't use them the way we do (mostly). they are a pretty good idea of what most people are thinking. its obvious that polls could be used to get a certain result, but some polls try to be honest. i hope. the word that bugs me is vast. vast doesn't just mean most, which i think is the appropriate word, it implies a huge majority. i concede that most people don't approve of bush, and how he

its not that we have nothing to say, we've said it all. no-one wants to have a conversation with somebody who's mind is completely closed. would it matter what anyone said? you should get a punching bag or something to help you relax.

what i think is great is that he sounds like a trouble maker, and you still think so highly of him. i know you will always love him, but to be so in to him after all the crap is really good stuff.
