Hey Silver! It's still easy to re-download old games you already bought, so I'm glad Stardock made sure of that. I recently downloaded Fallen Enchantress, but I havent had much time to look at it. The original Elemental was so bad that I'm having trouble approaching FE with anything but hardened skepticism. <

A long time indeed Seth! What have you been up to? Sentient species taste better...
I'll definitely be getting Rome II. The first one was really good, but then I was disappointed by Empire Total War. Sentient species taste better...
Yep, about 4 years too late. The League was quite fun though. Sentient species taste better...
I havent tried Diablo III yet, but I have been playing Civ 5. The new expansion added in religion, which had been a big hole in the game, compared to Civ IV. It still needs some improvement, but it's getting there. Sentient species taste better...
Hey Scanian! Always good to see another familiar face around here. :D Sentient species taste better...
Maybe try to take the #1 spot in tiny, Scanian? ;) Sentient species taste better...
You can wait for Diablo II all you want...I'm waiting for Diablo III. [e digicons]^_^[/e] I've been playing Lord of the Rings Online, and will be getting Civ V soon. Sentient species taste better...
Congrats Mumble! I thought we had all broken the MV before, but now I'd say it's complete, hehe. [e digicons][/e] Congrats to Sole Soul as well for helping to make it happen! Sentient species taste better...
What's up Silver? Maybe 10 years from now they'll finally make GC3, hehe. [e digicons][/e] SaintMina, I have very little experience playing with good, so I cant help you out much there. Sentient species taste better...
Clearly the solution is to purchase more licenses so you have enough characters to match all the various voices in your head. ;) Sentient species taste better...
I'm already eagerly anticipating next year's post! ;) Sentient species taste better...
Hi KaiLae. :) Well, I am more familiar with the Kzinti from their home universe of Known Space, by Larry Niven, rather than in the Trek universe. So I am not well versed on the Lyrans. Roddenberry and Niven were friends, which is why the Kzinti showed up in Star Trek. I read that if "Enterprise" had continued for one more season, the Kzinti would have made an appearance...to bad it ended. There are many books from Known Space, if you are interested.
I was never able to get that to work reliably, and I dont think other Kzin used it as standard procedure either. I found trading techs away to be more than sufficient for the most part. I just downloaded Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, but I'm kind of lukewarm about it so far. I'm not fond of the user interface for one. <span s
Well I've been mainly playing Lord of the Rings Online, with a ZYW here and there, still trying to increase my record a bit. An MMORPG is not really my genre, but some of my friends play, and it is now free-to-play. I've been having a good time with it, but might be done with it soon. They never did "fix" the MCC in any DA version...it still has the 100% econ bonus. <img src="http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/gg212/mbeyna/newkzintibanner1.png" alt="" width
Hey Neilo. :) No, I havent seen any real difference in the Metaverse as of late. New players here and there, but not any more than usual. The ToE forums do not exist anymore? Or maybe the link in your thread is pointing to the wrong place? Sentient species taste better... </em
Thanks Mina, and same to you, and thanks for the congrats as well Ferrell. :D Sentient species taste better...
Relias still looks like a halfling, but ugly.
The reason the bible of christianity contradicts itself so often, is that was written over a number of centuries by various schizophrenics (prophets...just check out a insane asylum, you'll find lots of prophets), then edited umpteen-hundred times deleting and adding huge chunks, clumsily mistranslated from one language to the next dozens of times with numerous mistakes, and finally reinterpreted by each of the various flavors of christianity for their own purposes. So it's pret
Respect as always, then we eat you. It's only natural... [e digicons]O:)[/e] I'm done, as I dont want to derail the thread, but nice to see people from the hey-days of the Metaverse. :) Sentient species taste better...

To those who argue for the existence of deities due to the fact that there are things that are unexplainable by our current-day knowledge, how is this any different than people during the Middle Ages blaming famines and diseases on witches and spells? Those things were unexplainable by the people of that time, but it did not prove the existence of supernatural forces, any more than the unexplainable things of our time proves the existence of deities. That argument was not valid
Thanks Motti! [e classic]:hot:[/e] I've also been super-busy working on our 250-yr old house. Been pushing to get siding and under-siding foam-board insulation up before winter sets in. I'm doing smaller parts myself and hiring other people to do the larger more complicated parts.
Haha. :D Dont bet on it! My wife does not like children, and I have no desire to have any either. She had to help raise her 2 younger sisters when her mom died, so she got her fill of that long ago I think. Besides, that would take up too much valuable game-time. ;) Sentient species
