Ever since 1.6 (or a beta of it, I'm not sure when exactly this started) I've seen some weird things happening with my last game. Twice is this game I've had another civ invade my planet (once it was actually successful) while not at war with me, nor the war declaration being brought up afterwards. I haven't seen wars that were lobbied for lasting too long, but it's a great method to sew chaos in their area. There have been a few times I've seen the #1 and #2 militaries civs duke it out for enough time for them to loose their top spots on the charts.
