it would be interesting to have a feature that allows one to set the map size oneself at start-up- this should make everybody happy... What I would love to see would be other galaxies unlocked once one reaches a close-to-win status

that should indeed sweaten up the expansion. It would be great if instead of larger warship tumbling about, the turrets would move into position and fire/recoil independendly...

Lol- on the other hand it is quite a reassuring feel to the constant AI approach: I was at War with the Torians (and winning) and decided to try and see for how much they'd let me of the hook... well, I offered them my fleet, all my cash, all 20+ technologies I was leading them by, and all my planets.... basicaly that would have meant I'd commit suicide and they'd win everything - EVERYTHING in one split second.... ... and they refused, mumbling something about them not wanti

There are 11 races by chosing "random" number of enemies and making your civ the custom civilization. Then all you need to do is to select the last civ (that is greyed out) and presto, you got your own civ and 10 enemies in the game = 11 in total (12 if you mod the game a bit and add the Dread Lords). @spazzykid: Could you make a little tutorial on adding functional major/minor races to the game, pretty pleeze??

Why bother with sequel then if you want MOO2?- GC3 will surely have in-built tactical battles from start on- it was planned for GC2 to begin with but there wasn't enough time/budget to implement it- if that oaf'd care to read what the GC2 people write he would have spared himself the trouble to openly display his mental misery...

Dito! In my games I usualy get at least one pan galatcical war (WWI-style) per game with everybody at war with everyone- all due to tight alliances, takes but one spark for the galaxy to turn real nasty. Play on higher levels and enjoy spectacular warfare throughout the universe...

For someone who choses the rather un-original name "Hate Stardock" and takes time to register at the game's Forum merely with the intention to bother other people with raving rants and the story of your own misery- well it suits you well to have been so stupid to have actualy "paid money for this rubbish". Who needs the manual anyways- you bought a game. So please spare us any further name-calling and yourself the time and troubles of remaining a forum member- your web presence was
