I would expect the 'Master Of Coding' is shifting focus to Wincustomize.com stuff beyond the Forums... Assume if things ain't working as expected there be spanners in play...;)

"Object Desktop" is Stardock's name for their Subscription process for the included suite of programs. By definition it is a Subscription-only Subscription. Reason being the on-going fee caters for both new and updated products across a range of types. A single purchase 'lifetime' option for the typical Stardock product, for example Fences 6, means you are entitled to each and all updates and revisions to Fences 6. It does not automatically follow on to a later r

The Forum rework is a work-in-progress. I wouldn't be worrying about what's not implimented as yet. As with the famous old saying.... "patience, Grasshopper" ...;)
So, I decided to start uninstalling things in an attempt to see what the issue was. I uninstalled Fences 6 first. Immediately my computer ran like new!!!
At best that only indicates something is conflicting with Fences, not that Fences is a problem. If the problem was specific to Fences we would be inundated with similar posts, which we are not. That defines the issue is 'specific' to your system installation and a combination of Fences
Wincustomize was started in 2001 and in internet years, that's about as old as the Big Bang.
Of course, those of us who were there at the 'Big Bang' just feel a little older.... .....older than dirt, it seems ... ;) Behind the scenes I remember the whiz-bang new 'Admin' site going online. It had that ultra-modern name 'Admin 2007'. Stardock's Forum structure was, and still is unique, but still more quirky than clunky.&nbs
I'm getting what I believe to be bogus messages from Brad Wardell, but I am sure it's not Brad. Anyone else?
I think what you mean is you are getting real messages from a bogus 'Brad Wardell'. The messages are real, the sender is not ....;) Context and relevance. Ask yourself what reason would Brad have to be contacting you 'directly'? Typical communication [outside of Stardock's 'Teams] would be our site's PM system.... and
Might be interesting if you downloaded and installed Proton VPN (free and excellent), so you can emulate being outside the USA...
Yes, that'll work...the person in the USA will be able to get the weather feed for China... Me thinks it's like real estate....location, location, location...;)
FYI, removing the "@Lindaackay" made the reply work. You need to fix that since it's a common way to refer to another individual who is part of the discussion! Dan
Ther's a quote option built into the Forums for that purpose.
starDock does not even support their software; they abdicate responsibility to "forums" with too many people that just like to watch themselves type
Stardock uses its online forums to interact with its customers in a way that helps more than just the one person who has struck an issue. The people responding ARE Stardock Support personnel, along with experienced Users who can also provide practical advice.&nbs
