Fantastic interview! I have high hopes for Maxstyles because although there are a lot of great skinners here at WinCustomize, I'll have to say that vStyler and I.R.Brainiac are probably my two favs. I have so many of their skins including Knot Vista and Stargate SG-1. I'm also a huge SCI-FI fan, and I see a lot of great SCI-FI themes surfacing in the MaxStyles skins. Congrats vStyler! I'm not a skinner myself, just someone who appreci

I would assume that if wallpapers had been made for the WB's they would have been posted. I'm also not sure that they are all 100% finished. Perhaps when WB6 final is released? Hmmm ... you might have a point. But when I was checking out something on Stardock's site the other day promoting WindowBlinds 6, there were some walls in the screen s
Hello everyone. I recently upgraded to WindowBlinds 6.0 which is one helluva upgrade btw!, and I like some of the new themes that come with it (Molten, Diamond, etc.) but I was wondering if anyone knows any good links for corresponding wallpaper files? I suppose I could just look around various wallpaper galleries to mix and match what I think would go good with the themes but that is quite time consuming and I'd rather have the actu
Try Mississauga, ON Yep, that did it! Works beautifully now! Tanx! .-= The Reaper
Did you run StardockWeatherOCX_setup.exe? It is in the extras folder. Doh! Yes, I did (eventually, once you told me about it ) and it now works. That is to say it loads now but it will come up with an error when I try to type in my location: Mississauga, Canada. Most of my Des
I love the new Suite as well. Everything works great for me, with the exception of one little gadget: the weather module. Here's the error message I get: StardockWeather.ocx is not registered and is required for use of this application. You may have a security application (antivirus, antispyware, etc) that prevented the registering of this module during t
I seem to have a problem with the icon package. When I apply the suite the icon package errors out and quits. The package does not show up in icon packager. I am running Vista Ultimate. Hoe can I apply the icons. Thanks for the help. I think you need to download the latest version of Theme Manager as that's what I did and it applied everything just fin
Hello, all. Just purchased the new "Pirate" theme from Stardock which I am quite enjoying, I especially like the "talking Pirate head", quite humorous actually but my problem is for some reason or another the Weather module which came with the theme does not work on my computer. An error message comes up saying, StardockWeather.ocx is not registered and is required f
I sincerely hope that it's 'Possibility #2' as I really admire the heck out of Stardock and all they have contributed to this community. I have paid for versions of all the Object Desktop software and feel it's been more than a fair bargain. I have also purchased a fair share of Suites and other goodies from Stardock as I feel some of them to be well worth it considering the low cost. I haven't seen Dreamscene in action but from the
Thanks for all of your suggestions. So far I am trying out the trial version of SnagIt and it seems to have some good options to it. I'll kick that around for a little while and if it suits my needs, I may just register it and keep it but if not, I can always try out one of the free ones on your lists. I was using my photo manager program before: ACDSee v9.0 and it was definitely lacking when it came to get a good screen captu

Glad to see I'm not the only one having a problem. I just recently upgraded the firmware on my router and thought maybe that had something to do with it. Sheesh! -= The Reaper Man =-.
Mmmmm ... boy, that sure is a good looking Bacon sandwich! Rats, this stupid New Year's diet I put myself on! .-= The Reaper Man =-.
I'm also having a lot of problems trying to connect with the galleries. Every time I go there I get a WinCustomize error message. This isn't the first time. It's been happening a lot lately! .-= The Reaper Man =-.
(sorry, that is so tacky...but couldn't resist....& Fairyy~'s is so pretty!!...) Well, if we can't have some humor during the Holidays, then why bother, right? ... hehe.. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Ew.gif" border=0 ALIGN
Merry Christmas to all at WinCustomize!
Well, that was yesterday. Today, however, (don't ask me how) the problem seems to have fixed itself. Weird, eh? Perhaps it required a reboot for it to re-assert itself? Either way, I am grateful. Would have hated to have to manually apply the wallpaper for each and every theme!
I am having problems getting WindowBlinds 5 (Beta) to load my skins wallpaper anymore. I was checking out the Change Wallpaper section in the WB Config app and double-clicked one of the other wallpapers and WindowBlinds applied
Mine is working fantastic! Just upgraded to WB 5.1 tonight using Stardock Central and everything works just as good as before upgrading. No problemo. Reaper
You are either not using WindowBlinds 5.x or just using a trial version or your computer hardware, specifically your video card doesn't support per pixel borders.
