I must have the dreaded lergy. Either a skin can not cause a problem like this-if so,say so. I'm in the wrong area? although it would appear a lot of waffilling goes on on the message board (not that i'm against that), some of it is very amusing. However looks like I will have to blow it out elsewhere. Thanks for the help >

I downloaded Dedalus. It worked fine on Win B but when i applied it to Web blinds i could no longer get IE6 to function. I uninstalled Dedalus and uninstalled Web Blinds and IE6 works. I reinstalled Web blinds-IE6 does not work, I disable Web Blinds IE6 works. I cannot find the conflict. I have left a message at the skin site along with another citizen who had a similar problem. Can anybody help, Ihave never had a problem with win or web blinds in the past.
Is there any chance at all of Pixtudio suite being upgraded to xp. I think it has the best colour combination by far.
Chris, Australian please.
Beats me Old Crab, But I think it has somthing to do with tiddlywinks?
Frogboy, Don't you dare reply to Citizen Raistlin. Leave this one to "The Others"
Frogboy, Is that a frog or a Gecko? Is it possible to have a larger viewing screen for the Zoom in Skin browser.
Thanks Entilza, Here''s an apple, dont take big bites though.
Please tell me the duraion of a Wincustomise Subscription and how often the price rises are to be expected. Also how do the increases tie in with the original subscription, I mean do you pay a subscription and then another one in a couple of months time or do you pay the difference.
I thought my A$37.00 was for a full year not just for a couple of months.
Michael Haller Done that-no response from stardock-sent email-no acknowlegement of receipt of email from stardock. Frogboy i follow the link on your info column all i get is the original subscription page. I go to upgrades at stardock- nothing on that page. Anybody- have you any other ideas how a subscriber can get beta 2
I am with Citizen Fracture how do we get our update to skin Browser Beta 2.
Reading this thread reminds me of the many committees I,ve been on over the years. "you can please some of people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time". It's an old adage but very true. If you are in the seat what you say goes. If someone does not like the status quo they put it in writing (e-mail} or Volunteer for the job if its available or see if you can assist. Has any one read the "Wincustomise about" in the Options Section. I thought it was a well written
Thanks Larry for that clear simple and concise reply. It was a hard road for me to get the answer. I must express myself more betterer im futre.
I again refer to my questions of 16/5/2002. The reply I received from Developer Turd Berg 16/5/2002 was not satisfactory. I am a winCustomise Subscriber and a ODNT Subscriber. I have used Skin Browser. It appears to apply the skin direct to the computer and stores the skin in the appropriate ODNT component. I am most probably wrong but please explain how it works.
I''ve asked this question before and was advised that I still need Window Blinds. The statement above that the Skin Browser " can apply skins DIRECTLY from the site" still puzzles me. (1) Does the Skin Browser apply a Window Blinds skin DIRECLY into Window Blinds for it to be applied, or; (2) does Skin Browser download DIRECTLY to the computer and alter the current skin.
Thanks Dagwud, We are almost there. Lord Frogboy said, "etc etc Wincustomise skin browser, a Windows Program that hooks directly into the database. From that program you'll be able to APPLY skins directly as if this site and all its contents were local to your hard drive." Does this statement mean that the subject browser will download into Window Blinds. Thats all I wont to know. To Citizen docster, Your right you did not make any comment i could agree with. I just made an assump
How do we know, out of all the WB skins available, which ones have all the XP Stuff. Download and hope for the best. Oh? if one is a Premium subscriber are the WB Skins categorized.
I'll try again. If i become a premium subscriber I get the wincustomise.exe browser to download skins direct to my computer. (The best of the skins of course). Why do i neet WB3.3i. and other components. I did not know Stardock and wincustomise were one and the same. double dipping?
I agree with Citizen docster. do we pay our OD Yearly subscription to use some of the components to download skins into and then use. And also become a "premium Subscriber" to use the new wincustomise.exe to download skins? I could be missing the point or don't understand the new system
Will the up and comming Wincustomise Skin Browser Cost? will there still be the ability to download and store in windowblinds. Will this browser do away with the need for stardock products. ande
