well, right now I am using the 5.51.025 version of WB and it works just fine. Log on Vista works, as does Deskscapes. Icon packager is so-so,and Cursor XP works just fine. WinCustomize browser and Stardock Central work as advertised. Tweak Vista is ok and Component tray does what it should. That is all I am running at the moment. I have Object Dock Plus installed but I have yet to work with it. Hope this helps

I have made the switch to 64 bit Vista and all the drivers I need are now available. I don't know if it's me but 64 bit seems to run smoother and so far there has been only 2 programs that I have been unable to install. Most install under the Program files x86 folder and run good. But all this could be due to the fact that I am using a rather high end new hardware machine...........

Karmat, the odds are overwhelming you're using a 32-bit OS. Right click on your My Computer/Computer icon and select Properties. On Vista, it'll explicitly mention "System Type: 32-bit Operating system" (or 64). I think XP will also indicate it in a similar fashion, but I'm not rebooting tonight to check. <

^^^^^^^^ I have just made the switch to x64 and WB works fine for me- at least for now. I am really surprised at how much of my x86 stuff works and it does seem to be a smoother running OS.

Vista, Vista, Vista, sooooooo sad. I just don't get it. This was to be such a wonderful program. Were you around for the launch of XP? All this complaining about Vista happened years ago when XP was released, now people can't do without it. I waited for months for an XP compatible version of the AV I was using. If you aren't going to upgrade to Vista and you'll wait- for what????

I HAVE done it and it works. I did just as mentioned above. XP first then Vista and then I did Ubuntu. A friend of mine also had a heart valve replaced at the beginning of May. He has done extremely well and I pray the same for you!!!!!!
