Great post! :) I've always said that Protoss is OP both in BroodWar and StarCraft II. Back in the day, I played StarCraft but never BroodWar. Couldn't handle Dark Templars.... Even a netfriend I played alot said: "It feels like Protoss are always a step ahead in the countergame". I agree with that.

You're wondering if Steammachines will kill PC gaming..? On my local computerenthusiast site, many believe Steammachines will be a flop. I do not, but thinking it will change PC gaming as we know it..? Check above picture. How do I hide
Reloading a game when you've played further I would classify as cheating.
Since this is a single player game, why would it matter if someone cheated anyway? What's the point of including such an end game comment?
Highscorelists, morals. To tell people that they didn't win. They cheated.
AngryJoe, TB and Maestro Cretella. Haven't seen one of their videos in months now. Guess I'm having a break ^^
I just have to ask, WHY do you use such cliché words like "Stardock is a leading developer of PC games....[]" that make people roll their eyes? It's such a [e digicons]:|[/e] thing to say. The rest is good though.
Congratulations, EA Games. You just rebranded yourself to Grim Reaper Games. Snuffing out one studio at a time.
But...they've been doing that for 10 years or so at this point [e digicons]:S[/e]
DirectX 12 truly seems like a godsend but it should have arrived in 2010 or something. Quadcore CPUs are still great though since other apps than games can run on the other two cores. So when Dx 12 comes around with games that support it I'll have to look at an 6 or 8 core CPU.

I agree with Stardocks decision of pricing an Early Access title very high so you only get dedicated players who truly want the game. Regarding pricecomplaints, I would have a sticky that explained it and any threads talking about it would be closed and pointed to the sticky. Maybe allow one complaintthread but that would be it. Right now, Early Access is either that you're with a game from the very start or in some kind of beta. No problems w
YES! More RTS is sorely needed these days! The genre is resting right now as Grey Goo isn't good enough so there's only StarCraft II that's a big title right now. I'm hoping for Servo to be smallscale (Dawn of War) where skill matters (using abilities and being fast). Something like Supreme Commander is not interesting to me.
So much talk about global warming the last decade....and what happens? Major snowstorm hits the U.S. Makes it really hard to believe in a temperaturerise.
I haven't changed mine as much as merged it. DevildogFF is still an account here but all of my games are on this one so I stopped using it a cohole years ago
Why you got two accounts? You didn't like the name of one and just created a new one? =)
eXplorminate will be interviewing Lennart Sas of Triumph shortly after their announcement, perhaps live on Twitch, so stay tuned for more info on that!
Even the pledge rewards aren't guaranteed. This is why my rules for Kickstarter are never invest money I don't mind losing unless I trust the developer implicitly (such as the Skullgirls kickstart or At the Gates- two devs who had good track records)
The recent articles about Peter Molyneux stated that the extra rewards (pledge awards?) that you get when you donate extra money HAVE to be
Eventhough the Playstation 4 is more powerful, will it ever show except for exclusive games? So in a way, it may have been wasteful of Sony to make it stronger than the Xbone. The most interesting thing here is that the Xbone will use Dx 12 while Playstation 4 uses OpenGL. REALLY interesting for me as a hardwareenthusiast!
In Kickstarater you're a donator with NO guarantee to get anything except for pledge rewards.
How does the final battle against the Sorcerer King go down? I picture a massive assault on a formidable fortress, akin to Barad-Dur or Isengard, but I get the feeling that I'm probably going to be disappointed again...
You got that right! [e digicons]:P[/e] (Really, you do).
Sounds good :) I'll get Sorcerer King sometimes and maybe Galactic Civilizations III on a cheap sale when you can control battles more. Offworld Trading Company sounds horribly boring [e digicons][/e] Game [A] makes me hope for an RTS with atleast the same pace as Age of Mythology (it's still great except for the balance). You bought Ensemble Studios??
There is another thing that sucks, and that is the aiming and accuracy system. In the original game, your accuracy would mean shots would veer off within certain angles. That means even if you missed the shot, you might hit the alien standing next to him. Hell, some times with an auto-shot you'd hit the intended target, the guy next to him and then the fuel pump behind them blowing them to bits.
That sounds gr

Times change [e digicons]^_^[/e] I'd thought you liked polygons so much more due to being easier to work with and giving better results.
I still like them. I'd rather the HoMM series went back to the hand drawn sprites of yore, HoMM 3 is still the best looking of the series once you account for resolution. 'Abandon' has far heavier implications than what you use it for. Cause if we go by your logic then Nintendo abandons Super Mario, Zelda and Mario Kart after every consolerelease [e digicons];P[/e] The current Master of Magic rightsholder have definetly abandoned Master of Magic though this is the strongest example I can find. It sounds boring. Instead of moving stealthed Stormtroopers into position and throwing grenades or surprising a tank (multimelta) or driving a tank straight through the enemy frontlines, you sell iron and food....:| I watched the video and it sounds better with pirates, EMP attacks and such but I wouldn't bet on it becoming the next E-Sport :p
Oh for nuts sake, I thought this whole thing had calmed down and then they bring it up again.... I side completely with Psychoak. Women are different and in these feminist times where everybody is supposed to be equal, reality doesn't fit the SJWs, the media and those in power. Thus, we get bogusstories about "misogony"
