Treedog, I am quite sure David is as you say he is. He would not hold the stature in the community he possesses if otherwise. There are behind the scenes issues with another Citizen. I have seen the e-mail in question and it is quite as I described it. I have also seen the wall that was moderated. Based on what gets posted here daily, it did not deserve moderation nor the comments in the rejection e-mail. Whats up with that comment David? For what its worth, the entire thread today and my original is a result of a very brutal "you have been moderated" sent by you to one of the Citizens. I suppose you were born with the current level of graphics/skinning talent you have? My point is valid and should be discussed inteligently. Typically the water textures you are seeing are native to the application itself, i.e. Bryce and Vue d'Esprit....you can create water type textures in Photoshop although much harder and the perspective look will be difficult to create. Check out http://www.actionxchange.com for the actions for Photoshop. Demo's are also available for Bryce at Corel's website and Vue is at Eon's website. HTH DJ

Thanks for the insight Jafo, a couple of fledgling artists have approached me on the subject. I would suggest that the guidlines for Wallpaper submission and moderation standards be outlined on the Upload screen so they know theres a chance it won't make it and not to worry it was lost in the shuffle. Maybe an automated "moderation" e-mail could be sent on rejection similar to what Skinz used to do with a redirect to a non-moderating site like Renderosity where they could get critiqued by the ma

So far none of "my" submissions have been modded but apparently others have. Is WC going the way of Skinz.org where blatant favoritism for styles/trends keeps a lot of submissions out? One mans trash is another mans treasure. Look at the plethora of "XP" wallpapers that have been posted. Most are mindless/unplanned thrown together pieces of "filterfest". I have posted some myself.
