I used to buy DareDevils and Punisher stuff and I was a huge Batman fan, up untill that crappy Knightfall storyline with Azrael becoming the new Batman and yadda yadda. Only good thing to come out of that was Bane. Comics nowadays just don't give the same sensations. How many comics nowadays can you open and actually be able to catch the smell of the paper? It's all this horrible shiny stuff nowadays. Bleah.... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/wink.gif" b

Well, it's sitting on my desktop now and my system is running fine, so I'm gonna try finding out what the little bugger is before I delete it for good. I won't be surprised if it does indeed turn out to be a virus. <img s

Looking for some info from anyone who has a techy understanding of Win 2K (Looking at you programmer types, hehe). Yesterday when I booted up into Windows, explorer became EXTREMELY unstable, sometimes running incredibly slow (Taking up to a minute to load explorer windows and whatnot) and in some cases not responding at all. I started closing stuff down from the taskmanager to see if it helped, and saw a 'cnd.exe' running. I've never had this running before, and closing it seemed t

I was a fan of Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors when I was younger. Cities of Gold and Pole Position as well. I'm a bit past watching cartoons now, but obviously I never miss an episode of The Simpsons.

If it's occuring in every window, then you have the trial version of Windowblinds, and will need to purchase the full version to have skinned scrollbars. If it only happens in Internet Explorer, then this is by defualt. Windowblinds can only skin IE scrollbars in XP.

I'm assuming you have Windows XP, as the first problem is usually an XP-related one and can be fixed turning off 'common names', which I believe is something to do with Internet Explorer. (I'm a 2K user though, so I'm not sure how you turn it off)

I enjoy books on Chinese history, philosophy and martial arts. I also like auto-biographies. Probably my fav's being Jackie Chans' and Michael J Fox' book. Oh, and not unlike probably every single person on this site, I'm also a Tolkien fan too.

Animated skins generally suck up memory, although there are two different types of WB animation. (Kinda). The first is the standard repetition of a set of pre-defined frames. The 2nd is used when you use an attribute in WB called 'link-to', which allows you to toggle defined buttons on and off from a master button. Using this method, fade-in effects can be applied to the process. 'What is the Matrix' by Mercury, and the Seti skins by DavidK use this method. As for

There's two viewpoints on this: One, from a user point of view, would definitely show that skin use and creation is on the rise.Downloads are high, and new skinners are popping up around the place and larger software companies, MS in particular, are recognising it as a valid form of GUI customisation. The other, from a skinners point of view, in my opinion shows a decline, as there's nothing particularly new or awe-inspiring being created these days(With a few exceptions, Tree
