Dear Sir Peter...

...I think I'm your daughter.

Dear Sir Peter,

If you'll excuse my being so forward , Sir, but I think I'm your daughter.

From what I've been able to ascertain so far, Sir, my mother was in your parent's employ as a housemaid from the summer of 1968 until early 1969. I shan't give her name here, Sir, but I think you'll remember her: she had fair hair, blue eyes and she took your virginity...or should I say, you took hers.

Given what little I know about your background, Sir, and the dates, places etc, I have a sneaking suspicion that you and I may be biologically related.

Please don't think that I am telling you this in order to weasel my way into your vast fortune, Sir, I am a very modest person and am happy and content with the life that I have made for myself. I merely wish to make myself known to you, and have no expectations of you. I simply wish to know the truth; to know if you are indeed my father. If you are, I will be greatly honored to call a man of such esteem and greatness as yourself "Dad" (or "Pater", if you prefer, it's a little more refined, don't you think?).

Thank you for your time, Sir. I look forward to your reply.

Your (perhaps) daughter.,

Dharma.

I may be an idiot, but can you still tell me? Are you kidding? Is this a joke, or are you serious?

Dharmagrl.... According to Peter he was born in 1956. He was 11/12. How old was your Mom ? Oh and might I add ...Mr. Peter looks quite a bit older than 48

I pity anyone proud to call herself a daughter to maxwell.

Actually, he would have been 12, going on 13, and in England it's pretty common to lose your cherry around then.

urban faery: I don't want your pity, or anyone elses.

I think that everyone around here has lost their sense of humor......

I stand corrected....12 years of age. So your Mom was how old?

No, she was 15 or 16, I do believe.

I understand that you would like, as almost everybody here, to be part of the proud and mighty Maxwell familly, but don't you think you should give us more detail about this? I have no doubt that if your mother had worked for Sir Peter, she had fallen deeply under his charming manner, but does that make you his daughter? Do you any little detail that could help us?
I don't have many details, I'm afraid. All I know is that my biological mother was employed by the Maxwell family directly before she became pregnant with me, and had to leave quietly under some, shall we say, somewhat scandalous circumstances. She never would reveal the details of who my father might be, saying only that to do so could cause great embarrasment and shame to be brought upon his family and himself, and she didn't want to that because she respected him too much.

I am not claiming to be his child in order to gain some kind of prestige or wealth, I merely want to know who my father is...I would like to have a relationship with him, and as I am leaving the US to live in the UK this fall thought that this would be an opportune time to find out.

I did in fact lose my virginity to a housemaid who worked for my family when I was 12 years old. It is Maxwell family tradition to have glorious sexual relations with a female servant, I distinctly remember the lady leaving us somewhat abruptly after my father said she had stolen some coins from his collection and he had to fire her. I have fond memories of her, it was a beautiful experience to mount her or should I say to have her mount me

But how do I know this lady was your mother? You could be just saying this to gain access to my vast fortune.

Sir, I can assure you I have no aspirations of claiming any of your fortune, and will sign whatever document you require me to sign to ascertain that I am not doing this for financial gain. I merely wish to discover the truth about my heritage.

The only thing I can tell you about my mother is that she had fair hair, blue eyes and had a mole at the top of her inner right thigh. I have the same mole. I also have a rather distinctive crown-shaped freckle on my upper arm...my mother apparently said that you had one that look remarkably similar.

Sir, if you are indeed my father, I shall be..well...overjoyed. To have a man of such repute and honor as yourself be my biological parent...well, Sir, I can think of no greater honor.

I shall wait with baited breath for your response, Sir.

Yours,

Dharma

I will speak to my legal team regarding drawing up a contract stating you are not entitled to any of my money, that is not to say I wouldn't love you as a daughter but I have to protect my fortune.

I hope this isn't a joke because the woman you describe as your mother sounds remarkably similar to the woman I had sexual relations with, you could actually be my daughter. Who would have thought that we would have met through Maxwell Blogs.

My child I understand you will be overjoyed to discover you are my daughter, It must give you a great feeling to know that your father is one of the richest men in the world. Tell me dear girl how is your mother now, did she ever marry and have further children?

What do you do for a living, are you married, do I have grandchildren - I have so many questions my child.

Peter

PS - Do not call me Dad, Daddy or Father at this stage - You must address me as Sir or Sir Peter etc

Sir,
What joy!! I am overwhelmed with happiness and pride!

Sir, I am sorry to have to tell you that I believe my mother is deceased. I have searched for many years for her and have had no luck in finding her. I know that her pregnancy with me was a difficult one, and it was because of her uncertainity for my future and her not wanting to tarnish your family's great and wonderful name that she chose to have me adopted.

I grew up in Oxfordshire, England, Sir. A man of such stature as yourself is probably familiar with the beauty of that area, and I suspect Sir, you are familiar with the hallowed halls of Oxford university (I cannot imagine a man as intelligent as yourself being educated elsewhere). The family that took me in was not rich, Sir, but they cared for me as their own and did the best they could for me. I am college educated myself, Sir.

When I was 20 I came to the US, and have lived both here and in England since then. I am happily married, Sir, to a wonderful man who is enlisted in the United States Air Force. He is a police officer, and recently was assigned a detective position. You have 3 grandchildren - a granddaughter, aged 11, and 2 grandsons aged 9 and 7. The 9 year old boy shows remarkable tenacity and business savvy, and I hazard a guess that he is much like you yourself were at his age, Sir.

I cannot begin to tell you how ecstatically happy I am to have you for a parent, Sir. This really is a dream come true for me - not only have I found my parent, I am lucky and fortunate enough to have such a respected and honored man as yourself as my life-giver.

Yours,

Dharma.

P.S. We will be stationed in Cambridgeshire in September of this year, and I would very much like to have the distinct pleasure of meeting you personally if your busy schedule should allow such a thing.

Such a beautifull connection here, allowed by Maxwell Blog, I am going to cry....

My dear child I am sorry to hear that your mother has passed away it is a great shame. I just want to say that she made the right decision when she chose not to tarnish the Maxwell name, for the Maxwell Dynasty is higher than royalty is most eyes.

Oxfordshire is a wonderful place to grow up in but i didn't attend Oxford University, I was actually educated at Harvard business school along with my close personal friend Bill Gates before he dropped out. That is where Bill and myself started our life long friendship and business relationship.

Who is the boy showing business acumen, what is the boys name and what business ventures has he started. I was in fact a keen investor in the stock market at 9 years of age. My father allowed me to trade stocks and shares as a way to educate myself in the ways of global finance so i am glad that my grandson is showing similar inclinations.

I would be interested in meeting with you and your family in September, maybe you can all stay with me in my mansion and we can start to build a relationship (you won't get any money though)

This whole connection has been made possible by the power of Maxwell Blogs™

May I forward this fantastic human interest story to the London Times, or perhaps for the States side The National Enquirer?
Dharma, this story could be worth millions if you gave an exclusive.
Sir Peter, as a matter of now public record, I would reccomend that you compensate your daughter in exchange for her silence.
I will kindly broker any settlement.....for 30%.
You may forward it to the National Enquirer, I haven't had any significant fame in the US since the 70's so i would welcome the promotion old chap

Well, Sir Peter, he is as i said a most tenacious young lad. He is ruthless when it comes to financial matters and has hired other kids to work for him...says he shouldn't have to soil his hands with labor when there are plebs to do the dirty work for him. He, in turn, pays them a minimal amount for their troubles and banks the rest for himself.

Rest assured, Sir, I shall not be exposing you to any tawdry scandal. To do so would bring shame upon the Maxwell family name, and seeing as I am almost one of you I would only be hurting myself. (I hope you don't mind my considering myself as almost one of you, Sir...I'm just so excited at all this!)
He sounds like a Maxwell alright. I am glad he is following in his Grandfathers footsteps by hiring other kids to work for him and even paying them a minimal salary, I am most proud of the boy.

I am glad you hear you won't be exposing my family to any scandal aw we have a major "incident" about to explode in the media concerning my son Richard - Full article on this will follow

Over and Out

Thank you, Sir.

I must say that I am dismayed at the amount of negative comments that have been made about the glorious Maxwell family in the past few days. It would seem that certain undesirables have tried to cast doubt and scandal upon you Sir, and I for one shall have none of it. Rest assured that I will always defend your honor and that of the Maxwell family name.

May I enquire what my half brother has done, Sir? And offer my assistance, of course.
Thankyou Dharma you are becoming an invaluable asset to the Maxwell family and I fully agree that certain undesirables are stepping up their campaign against me.

Your half brother Richard has shall we say committed a sexual indiscretion, while it is nothing illegal it is very embarrassing to me. I will post an article about this in the next few days

I see Sir...and I shall see, it would appear.

I will wait with baited breath for the article.
