Can anyone tell me the difference between the Ultimate Edition and the Gold Edition? Thanks.

It's just the name really. From what I've been told, they contain all the same content.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if there are any multiplayer maps included or can the single player maps be used for multiplayer?

There is a multiplayer map pack available on SDC once you've downloaded the game, though I've yet to try it myself.
