Wednesday, 6:30 pm. I cannot update to the just announced Beta 1Z because, as Citizen Magus has observed on another thread, GalCiv does not appear anymore on Drengin. How then are we supposed to obtain 1Z, as Frogboy has indicated at the end of his news posting?

I've just run into the same problem CyberMage reported. I started DGM, and the file drengin.ex_ was updated; then when DGM connected to the server and opened, GalCiv was missing from the menu. I suspect that whatever update you did somehow knocked GalCiv off the menu, so it's simply not possible to download Beta 1Z or play the game except by starting the executable directly. :(

To bad we can not play it, can not get it of
the DM.

Oh Well I guess I will try latter (:(

GRR.

That is very annoying. Did you check to make sure you have "See betas" on?
yeah, tried that........the update is missing a file no doubt............

OK, I want a prize.
I've downloaded, installed and started a new game with 1Z. Looks much better, but I misses the previous release.
Suppose SD fixed something.
MM also installed.

I cant see it anymore in DGM either.
How frustrating. Great list of enhancements. No doubt DGM will be sorted soon. However it sounds like a nasty bug - system dependent? May take some hacking out.

Is it specific to people who have recently obtained the SDS4000 error? I had that just before the new beta arrived, updated through several versions of DGM.exe supplied by T-man to try and fix it and lost the view of the beta following the last one provided. I am going to have a look at an earlier DGM exe and see what happens (probably get back the SDS error!)

keep battling away guys.

nope 66.74 and 66.83 no show for beta Galciv

Tried a fresh install of DGM on an XP machine. No Galciv. My feeling is that this has to be something on the Stardock server end. The timing of having the new beta go up and many people no longer having Galciv show up in DGM is just too coincidental.
Sigh

When I changed to .83/84 it asked me again my SD subscription data... and also said it was expired (1900 date)
What about you?
Really can't understand what's happening to you :(

Gherardo,

Sometimes it will give you the "expired" response if it can't get to the StarDock server. I noticed the GalCiv server was "too busy" for a few minutes so maybe trying again will correct it.
