Where's the Help Section?

After reading and posting here for a few months, I finally broke down and started my own blog. Nothing earth-shattering, but it's a start. :)

Still finding my way around JoeUser, and can't figure out a couple of things (well - a couple in relation to the mechanics of my blog anyway...LOL)

How do I get an icon next to my posts? And is there a way to post a picture in the menu to the left of my blog?

Thanks for any insight y'all can give. :)

Feel free to keep asking as the help section is a bit sketchy so far...

As for the Icon by your name in the Forums you have to go to wincustomize.com and set it up there (it is tied into JU you see).

The picture? Well you can put that in there just like you put in links to others blogs.... look at chip's for an example

I'll check out wincustomize.com. As for chip's example, that's where I saw it... but for some reason it won't show me source code. Do I put it in as an image link?

Aaaaaaaaaaaack. Now my option to add links is gone. What have I done?

Select Site & Option To Edit:

hc

Select Site Theme & Titles
Manage Site Administrators
Manage Site Black List

Close your browser windows completely out (so none are running), open your browser again and log back into JU and you should be good to edit all your account stuff again... happens all the time. Sometimes simply logging out and logging in (without closing browser windows) works too but sometimes not.

There seems to be no official help section. At one point I put together an UIAQ, they might be of some help. I really should update them too...
Greywar pointed you in the right direction for icons, but I thought I'd add a direct link to the appropriate page. Save the trouble of looking (assuming you havn't found it yet).
Chiprj's mythical sidebar directions. If you'd rather a simple answer, put the html code for the picture in the link title and leave the URL blank.
