Enough with the Poems!

OK. I know half the people writing are fed up with something, and I understand that this site is a way to vent, but does everyone have to vent with poetry? I know not every poem is about happy, cheerful things, but does everyone have to be so pecimistic? Can't you guys just say what you think without hiding behind a shield of non-conjucting stanzas and the occational insult. Just say what you think, and think not of what others may say. I'm not telling you to slander anyone, but if you keep skirting around the point, as you do with your poetry, you begin to build uncertianty, which breeds hostility. You don't have to agree with what I say, but at least give it concideration.

It's roughly stated, but completly Peter-esque.

And while I agree to an extent, I'm going to disagree as well. People should say what they mean, but not at the sake of creative expression.

Unfortunately for you, it's also my blog. Which means I decide what to put on it. My poetry is not a jab at anyone, so I don't consider it beating around the bush. I say exactly what I mean. All you have to do is see it.

We do what we do. Live and let live, as it were.

Heh, heh...Peter, chill out. You've got a point, but I think our poetry is one of our better ways to vent, of course we do have the occasional rant....which is fun in its own way.

I'm not against all poetry or even the occational venting poetry, I was just trying to make a point and get people to write something other than poetry. (If you can't tell I not a big fan)

Hey Peter....If you don't like poems then don't read them. duh. Nobody is forcing you to read them. What is it with people and complaining about what in the hell people write or how they write it. I'm sick and freaking tired of people telling others that they shouldn't write in a certain way just b/c another person doesn't like the way they write. It's their blog, let them write what they want. so do me a favor Peter and leave it alone.
