Letting Things Go

*sigh*..this could get ugly

Okay, Why do some people not let things go? I know some people that dont let anything go. They remember everything and dont let you live a moment down...I am not going to say any names but...well, they know who they are. People get angry, sad, mad, and everything that I cant think of at this present moment in time....Which some how leads me to "time"....Time is a wonderful thing, But if you keep going back into that time period of when the event occured you cant get away from it....Which leads me to the next thing...Is it a mental relaspe where you just cant forget, or is it go even deeper than what I just thought...Again it goes to the next part....Why cant we all forgive and forget? Like in Clarke, "everyone goes down their own path" You cant control it...*sigh*...it is not or fault..People have things they have to do no matter the price. Well, I said what I need to say, Now lets hope no one gets angry....or upset...Those people who know who they are....and Trust me they know...Even if they know that I know that they know that I know....

I think the people you're talking about are women. No offense ladies, but you are most notorious for not letting things die. I'm not sure why you girls hold a grudge for so long...but if you'd forgive and forget I'm sure you'd feel much better. I've learned that if you settle matters with someone and what's done is done and stays in the past then life won't be too bad. Especially with relationships...when breakups occur women will turn into Satan and do every underhanded, nonconfrontation, passive aggressive things to the people that have wronged them. Not all women do this...but 95% do...I've seen it with my own eyes...

It is true, somtimes things happen that you think you can never forgive. It sounds un-Christian-like to say that, but it is true. And I too, like NotsosmellySarah will hold some grudges to the grave. This too applies to my life right now.

It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend.

Forgive and forget, relive and regret. - Very good quote for the situation... but it can be a challenge to follow. Especially when the blame falls on you. Sometimes, when everyone turns their backs to you... you can't forget about it. You live with the shame that it was all your fault, and it's you that needs to go. Forgetting is hard... Forgiving is sometimes harder.

I object! I've never held a grudge in my life! It's not our fault that men are simple, ununderstanding forms of unintelligible life and have to take it out on the more intelectual species. If and man cares to disagree with me, I will never let him live it down and will bring it up at every possible chance I get.

I forgive when an apology comes (sincere or not) but i never forget. If i forgot, i wouldnt have learned anything from the pain. So i make sure i never forget to try my best at never making the same mistakes. It's so easy to forgive for me. I find it hard to understand that some people cant. But i guess that's what the world's made of, we're all different.
